Good question. I wonder if she had a c section under that sheet and we didn't see it? Maybe there is something they can do it space that we can't do here. They said they had to do something to save the babies, but I don't know what.

so i think she had an vaginal
birth ew i cant believe i just

i think she had a normal childbirth but maybe the droids gave her something so she could have the babies after all the droid said "we need to operate quickly...." but she did push and i think it was a normal childbrith

As Annie said it, that's a good question. I'd go for the fact that under the impact of Anakin's attempt to choke her, she's been sent into labor. To me, the droids only helped her to give birth to the twins normally, as she was at the same time passing away...

My feeling on it, is the force choke did not send her into labor....... she was heart broken, she passed out......... she had no will to live...... they induced the labor..... then when she knew her children were safe, she totally gave up.......

i agree with PadmeSkywalker!! she stayed alive to give birth to the next generation of skywalkers but when she new they were born she just gave up.i think they gave her something to speed up the process.

She was dying , the induced the births to save the children.
