Okay maybe this is a flaw...... but
1. why would Darth be so anxious to convert Luke if there can only be two? Why would Sidious tell him he has grown strong only together can we convert him to the dark side?
I know Sidious is planning on Luke killing Vader........
Vader wants Luke to kill Sidious........
but how do they keep it from each other.......
one more
2. Why would Darth take so long to kill Sidious? when he's attacking Luke? I mean didn't Sidious just tell Luke to kill Darth and take his place by Sidious' side?

Oh, good, good question! I have wondered this too! Surely Palps and Vader knew that if Luke joined the Sith, one of them must die. So what's with this 'he will join us or die, master' business? Was that written before they made the 'only two' law, and does anyone know if it's EU or canon and how long ago it was determined?
According to lines in ESB, it seems Vader did have plans of using Luke to overthrow the Emperor so they could rule together. But didn't Palps see this coming? And if Palps had the same plan, wouldn't Vader see it?

yep yep...... I think GL hadn't decided on the rule of two yet........
he probably figured he had to make the rule of two so it seems why palps would go to such lengths to get Anakin..... if he could have a bunch of apprentices, he probably wouldn't have cared if he had Anakin or not.

I think Palps would have wanted Anakin anyway, because Anakin was the 'Chosen One'.
I think both Vader and Sidious knew the other would use Luke to help kill the other. They just let on that the three of them would be even more powerful.

That was the plan Dooku fell for isn't it . Vader had to know what was up or he realized it I'm sure when Palpatine told Luke to kill him.
The Sith were indeed a treacherous lot, plotting against each other was their way.
As was the secret training of apprentices.

I'm sure at one time Darth/Anakin would have been all Palps needed..but ever since Mustafar..he was no longer capable of doing things that he would have been able to if he hadn't of been put in that suit...for example, sith lightning...agility, speed..but, a reason he kept him around was because he was the Chosen one..and he believed the Jedi to be dead..but when they felt Luke..then Palps realized he could have his ideal apprentice again..and even better the Chosen One's son..so then he started planning on Vader getting Luke to turn, Luke killign Vader..and taking his father's place as his apprentice..but idk..that just what it seems like to me..

I'm sure there was a very very powerful struggle going on internally , Vader vs Anakin.

BINGO! for that's exactly what's been going, in fact. The Goodness of Anakin still sleeping behind the mask of Vader Palpatine imposed him to live as, was fighting it off, until it got the best of it, simply because he had the experience of the Dark Side's ropes, he'd understood at last how Palpatine was working.
And if you look closely, you'll see than the Siths never change their strategy, and Anakin grabbed it rather very nicely when Palpatine made the allusion to turn Luke to the Dark Side, just like he's done with Anakin a few years before. The very same pattern. The Sith are virtually unable to adapt to their surroundings, they've to adapt it for their own needs. Conclusion: they irrevocably fell when facing a deep contradiction, while on the other hand, they don' hesitate to test their toys, which witness of their lack of vision, they can't accept nor face reality as anyone else, that life's not made for them to be served et to deny to others their right to choose.
By choosing to save his son's life, Anakin regained his right to choose, but also his acceptance of the reality as it is, and not anymore of the delusional universe Palpatine trapped him into with his lies years ago. And that to say, "That's enough", when enough's been enough, and made this statement powerfully clear by finally getting ridden of his tormentor, surprising Palpatine into the process, of course, who never thought actually Anakin would have the guts to stand up to him, but he did.
Kisses,
Sam.
