I know after 20 years he was consumed by Vader, but I meant in the "NOOOO!" scene right after he found out he had been duped. He should have killed Palps right then, not gone around 20 more years groveling to the one who lied to him, tricked him, got him burned and put in a suit and cost him Padme. ESPECIALLY if he had the Sith anger in him, his rage should have been great enough to take Palps out!

That's right, very right, Annie. Yet again, the main reason he's gone groveling 20 more years to Palpatine, is nothing more than a thing called FEAR. Anakin feared than if he attempted anything against Palpatine, this one would have without doubt make him pay for it. I committed this error, too. I had feared to turn my back on those who had done nothing but humiliate me over and over for their own needs, therein encouraging them to pursue their humiliating program. My only guess is, so it must has been the same for Anakin. It could only be that.
Until it hit us we've given them more power and no limits by being ever so submissive to them. For in fact they'd not given us any respect either, as to be treated as any human being, precisely a thing Anakin had been looking forward to get from his peers all his life, and got refused. And guess who's ever given him such respect? His very son, Luke.

i totally think that that they should forgive him, because of the past events and such. but it might be a bit diffcult because of all the horrible things he did but in time im sure they will forgive him...after all luke did

I would forgive him simply because he made the wrong choice. We all do it and we all deserve a second chance. In Vader's case, he never got a chance to make it all right
