I'll start off this thread by announcing that I will be on vacation from 11/9 through U.S. Thanksgiving, which is 11/23. I am taking my laptop with me, so I hope to be on the forum now and then.
Going to California (Morro Bay first, then Bakersfield).

I am leaving on business for a week beginning Monday, December 4 (back the following Saturday). I'm going to try to finish my story before I go so no one is left hanging all that time (don't know if I'll be able to get online while I'm gone).
But I will probably not be able to read or post replies to anyone's stories for that time either - will look VERY forward to catching up reading when I return, however!

Thanks! I'm back! The evil plot against me backfired. Somebody found out lies don't fly!  But since last night a cold wind blew in (it had been warm here- thanks midwesterners for the cold, not!) and the DSL has been very slow or down. I sure hope to see some life around here soon! Come on everybody have some fun! |

I am back too! Just got back in a few hours ago.
Glad to hear everything worked out for you, Annie! I was rooting for you!
My power finally came back on the evening I left (my son said around 7:30PM Monday). It had been out since Thursday night, and the temps were below freezing all that time. Still are, but at least not inside anymore. Brrrr!
