They were now in a ship back to courasant, Anakin tried to talk to Padme but she just keep avoiding him, now she was in cockpit with the capitain of the ship, then she apparead on the door of the room Anakin was

"Padme i really need to..." but before he even finished Padme interrupted

"I just came here to tell you that we just arrived to courassant and that a comitee is waiting for you in the doking bay so you go to the senate and present your case"

"What about you" asked Anakin "About us.."

"there was never an us, Senator, now you have what you wanted since the beggining to return to courasant, and i got what i wanted"

"what was that" asked Anakin walking to be closer to her

"I am going to face the trials and i am going to be a jedi knigth"said Padme showing no emotion about what was happening

"Padme you know I love you"

"Please don't say that" said Padme now with tears in her eyes

"Why not?! I want us to be together!, i want us to go back to naboo and grow old there and be happy and....and have a house together, and babies and a speeder with seats for four people not two, because the other two seats will be for them!"

"who's them?" asked Padme now more confused

"Our children" he said now grabing her by the shoulders "I want us to have babies.... and i want us to get married, i can quit to everithing now if you just ask me"

"No" said Padme walking away from him "you just said that because you can't even conteplate the idea of being alone, you don't love me, you can't love me"

"Pad-" but he got interrupted again

"No! i don't want that, i want to be a jedi! i DON'T LOVE YOU" said Padme altough she knew all that was a lie, but he didn't really love her, he just wanted something so that he didn't feel so alone. "we have arrive, please prepare your things so we can go"

THE NEXT DAY

Anakin was looking through the window to the jedi temple, he had lost the case in the senate and now the war was going to start, and somehow the only thing he really cared about was Padme and the fact that her life was in a great risk now that she had to go to the war, that morning he find out that Palo had leave the jedi. he didn't know what Padme had done about him, he also knew that all the thing Padme told him were a lie, but if she didn't want to figth for them, why did he had to figth that?, he keep looking, hoping that she was OK.

Meanwhile in the jedi temple, Padme just heard her trials were going to be next week, and now she was looking through her window to Republica 500, Palo had declared her love to her but she didn't love him, and now they remaied just friends, she didn't want that to happen to him, to leave all the things he believed in for her, and she knew she couldn't do the same thing to Anakin, that was other reason why she said to Anakin that she didn't love him, but why did she feel so horrible, and felt this regret, she had to go to war now but for some reason the only thing she could think about was to go to anakin's place and told him she was sorry for what she had done, what she should do?, she close her eyes feeling the force and realizing what she had to do.


AN: I KNOW THE SCENE WAS LIKE PADME'S RUMINITIONS IN ROTS BUT I HAD TO WRITE THAT, PLEASE MAKE COMMENTS, AND I THINK THERE'LL BE A ROTS REMADE ALSO

Padme began walking in the jedi temple halls, the decision had already been made but before she had to talk to someone, that someone could made the decision worth it or not, then she suddenly tripped with her Master

"Padawan were are you going?" asked Obi wan

"I have to take care of some things, Master"

"Ok, just be here in two hours, because we'll be leaving"

"Leaving?!" asked Padme, what?! she couldn't go, it was to quickly, two hours! "what are you talking about master?"

"Well we have been assigned a mission in planets in outer rim, to negotiate" say obiwan

"But Master!, we can't go this quickly! i mean.... we just got back to the temple and" but Obi Wan interrupted

"That doesn't matter Padawan, we're jedis and it's our duty to the galaxi" said Obi Wan as camly as he could, Duty? Padme had heard that word so much this days and she already hated it, but then decided not to waste anymore time and go where she needed to go.

"I'm sorry master,i'll be back" and then she startes to run till she finally wen out of sigth.

500 REPUBLICA

Anakin was standing in the balcony, he couldn't stop thinking about Padme, and how all his toughs change in a few weeks, now the only thing he cared was Padme, and the fact that she could get hurt in the war, then suddenly someone interrupted his toughs.

"Excuse me, Senator"

"Yes, capatain?" said Anakin as he turned around

"Well i have to go to check the security downstairs, but there's someone here to see you, do i let her come in?"

"Who is it?" asked Anakin he wasn't expecting anyone

"Padawan Naberrie" this made Anakin surprises he didn't expected her

"Yes, and please check everithing downstairs twice if it's necesary" said Anakin but the capitain thipho already new why did he want more time alone with Padme, then Thypho just turn around and Padme came in sigth.

"Padawan Naberrie, what can i do for you?" asked Anakin

"My name is Padme, Senator and i wish you can call me by my name"

"Only if you call me Anakin" said Anakin taking a few steps closer to Padme, then finally taking her hands in his.

"I have to tell you something and i already lose 30 minutes just by coming here"

"30 minutes?" asked Anakin

"Yeah, you wouldn't like to know the kind of drivers this city had, you would that since is the big planet city there.... that's not important!" remimded Padme to herself

"it's not?" asked Anakin

"You're really into questions rigth?"

"Am i?" asked Anakin again

"Please let me focus" said Padme and then took a breath and said "the thing is that i lied, I love you so much, but we have duties and we cannot ignore them, but i tough i could ignore the feelings that i had for you, but i just noticed that denying them is even harder"


"You love me?" asked Anakin

"yeah" Padme said "but please said other thing that is not a question"

"I love you too" said Anakin, he couldn't believe this was all happening, and then he decided to take the next step "Marry me, tomorrow we can have everithing ready, we'll have the wedding here on the balcony and...."

"We can't"

"You're rigth, reporters may see"

"No, I can't marry you tomorrow"said Padme

"you don't want us to get married?" Anakin could feel his heart breaking again, it was too good to be thrue

"No, i do want to"

"Then? why did you said No?" asked Anakin hurt

"Because i have to leave for the war in 1 hour and half" said Padme, she now had tears in her eyes

"WHAT?!" said Anakin, that couldn't happen "You won't! you can't! there's so much in risk"


"I know, but i have to Anakin is my duty, and believe me the thing i want the most is that if i have to go to the war, at least know in my mind and in my heart, that i'm yours" said Padme as she took his hands in hers, then Anakin said

"Then i'll make everithing to make that happen"

"We have to get everithing ready so we can be married in half and hour" said Anakin, he was already excited, and Padme was so happy to see him like this, but she knew it was impossible to get married before 1 hour since it took her half and hour to get to the docking bay.

"Anakin, please sit with me" said Padme pointing a spot nextto her on the couch

"But we have to-" started Anakin but then he got interrupted.

"You know i love you, and i want us to get married, but what about our dutties, what are going to do? we can't leave everithing, specially now when we're at war, the job you do is important and..." Padme said but this time she got interrupted

"and we will do it, but this" said Anakin taking her hands in hers "is more important, we'll find a way, we could keep it a secret, and then when the time is rigth we can run away together, as a family"

"really?" said Padme not believing what she was hearing

"Really, but rigth now i have to get us ready, because if you're going to leave, i want you to always remember that what we have here is real, and that you have another reason to come back" said Anakin then kiss Padme, and started to get everithing ready.

Anakin manage to get a naboo minister and with some dresses Winter had left the last time she had been in Anakin's apartment everithing was set and ready, they open space in the living room, the only people present were the holy man and capitain typho, and of course two droids, Padme and Anakin stood in the midle, when the ceremony ended they gave eachother the sweetest kiss they had shared till this day.

They soon changed, Padme in her jedi clothes and Anakin in his senatorial robes, they have to get back to their reality, they had to take different speeders so no one saw them arriving together to the docking bay, Anakin had to be there for senate reasons and also because he wanted to be there for her, eventough he could not hold her to say his goodbyes.

Padme got there first, and saw his Master, she went rigth where he was

"Master" said Padme

"Padawan, you're finally here, everything is ready, we are just waiting for some senators, you know they have to take pictures for the holonets and things like that" said Obi wan upset for waiting.

"Yeah, I know" said Padme with sadness in her eyes, she wanted to stay, her world was not being a jedi anymore, then she spot 500 republica, she realized her whole world was there, and here only was the part she had to play till things were better, then she saw him, walking with senator Bail Organa, when they arrive they said their hellos, and then Anakin started talking with Obi wan

"Master Kenobi, i hope you can return with a victory for the republic soon enough, and that we can solve this matter in the shortest time as possible"

"I hope that too, Senator, now i am sorry but we're delayed and have to get going" said Obi Wan shaking hands with Anakin, till Padme shook hands with Bail Organa, then Anakin took Pamde's hand and shook it, but with one finger he touch in the most delicate way possible her hand, then said.

"I hope to see you soon, Padawan Naberrie" said Anakin looking at her and giving her one little smile

"I'm sure we will, Senator" said Padme, then she left his hand go, and said "May the force be with you, Senators" said Padme but her eyes never left Anakin's then she walked towards the ship, and little by little the ship took high and then it was nothing, Padme knew she had to comeback, she had too see him again, she couldn't stand being away from him, but this was her duty, and she had to do what the jedi had tough her: to put her feeling aside, but when she came back and was again in his arms she will forget that and be for him, and for the time being only for him: Padme Skywalker.
