EU Books

I've read comments here and everywhere about EU books, my husband bought me Star Wars Allegiance..... by Timothy Zahn

Any comments? without telling me the whole story, I'm going to read it but was wondering, since I'm new to this is this book in a series., etc?

Should I start with this one or not?

Sorry! I haven't read it. I am not an EU fan (which is why I got into fanfic) I usually dislike what they do so badly it ruins the saga for me and distorts the view of the characters as I have them in my head. The only EU book I ever liked was Shadows of the Empire. I have heard Zahn is good, maybe someone else will know.

well, i have read a few books also, but that's because i can get them, i have to ordered them and the page where i buy them doesn't have a lot of books, i also like shadows of the empire, but i can't tell you about the book you ask because i haven't read it, i have like 7 books , not so many, sorry i can't be of much help
