I also think Anakin looked better in the dark clothes, the Obi-Wan outfit just isn't 'him' IMO. I also vote for changing the death scene to Hayden! How awesome would that be to have ANAKIN'S eyes looking upon Luke, and ANAKIN'S voice speaking to him? Wow.
To me, the old man Shaw doesn't fit in anymore now that we have the PT and know what Anakin really looked and talked like and that he wasn't that old, since he was so young when he turned. Shaw was 78! And yes, with the burn makeup and pasty face, it wouldn't matter what age Hayden is when he plays the part of dying Vader. Do it now! George, please?

As a matter of fact, in the colors' symbolism, somebody relying on the black color is actually to prevent anyone from reading his/her Soul, especially when it is somewhat tormented. Myself, during my Dark Times, I've been wearing dark clothes, mostly black. However, when I made it back to the Good Side, I dropped definitively the black colors to return to lighter tones ones. And believe me, I feel much more comfortable in it!
That's why I'm always amazed to read when any of you thinks Anakin looked better in the dark clothes! Although I agree that in design, they're quite researched and befitting him!
Kisses,
Sam.

I agree, Samantha. Perhaps it is because we are more used to seeing him in dark clothes. He stands out, as Lucas no doubt intended for him to do.

Oh my gosh, yes. I almost think it is unfair to her. Even if she inside Force-sensitive, I'd like to think that she'd be able to be a Force ghost and meet up with Ani, watching over her children... it seems like she wouldn't completely be at peace otherwise!
