'The Departed' was a good movie, certainly rated R for the language and violence. As with all Scorsese films, not one I would want to watch often, especially the end. Leonardo was excellent, as I expected. Matt Damon was very good, as he always is. Nicholson was.....well, Nicholson. Again, just what one would expect. If you don't like violence and/or the F word, don't see it. However, there was excellent humor in it, cop humor.

Hello,
We should get it released around the 29th of November, in France. A movie magazine yesteday published an article about it.

I saw it yesterday, and WOW! I got trapped into the intrigue so well, I didn't see time going by at all. It was so fast-pacing, breathtaking, that I've even forgotten to eat the candies I'd bought earlier on.
Actually, it's the third Scorsese movie I'm seeing, after Gang Of New-York and Aviator. Therefore, his third collaboration with Leonardo.
Matt Damon was a perfect rat within the police's walls, while Leonardo was astonishing as a young cop sent to spy in the Mafia's headquarters, and to befriend such manipulative Godfather that is Nicholson. And I'd bet you than the young psychanalyst was expecting a baby from Leonardo's character, not from Matt's. I really had a good time, and enjoy the trip into the Mafia's world according to Scorsese.
He always is.
Kisses,
Sam.
