The Movie is to be come out this Christmas in December. Check out the above site two view the two trailers (yes there's been a new trailer realeased) to learn more about what this movie will about.

For those who don't already know, the Inheritance Trilogy is also a novel. There are two books out in the trilogy, Eragon and Eldest. The final book, Empire, is yet to be realeased, and us Inheritance Fans are eagerly awaiting the last book in the trilogy.

It's also being made into a movie, and from what I've seen of the trailers, it looks to be one awesome movie to do Eragon full justice.

I read on the site, the casting to find the person to play Eragon rivaled the search for an actor to play Harry Potter.
I really think this movie is going to be big, and their are MANY Inheritance Fans already.

So far for now, I'm just considering to go seeing it, Saphira. Unfortunately, (for my friend from Ecuador suggested too to read the books as you are now), I don't think I'll like the books, for the simple reason, through the résumé potraying the story so far, I got much more reminded of the LOTR than that to be actually going to read an original story. I guess that once you've read and seen LOTR, it's hard to get afterwards into a story taking back much elements inspired by it in its storyline!

Also, the author's vision of relationships between Dragons and humans doesn't match mine either. I don't like at all how a Dragon can be so dependant of its rider (and vice-versa), that's the feeling I got from what I've comprehended so far from résumés, Saphira. Dragons are meant to be independant, even if they choose their riders, from my point a view. A Dragon as a pet simply can't exist, it's merely risible in Western culture. That's why at this time I know that to read the books doesn't appeal to me at all. I'm just voicing my opinion, of course.
