saw the movie tonight, it was good...... Eragon is very cute.... nice new actor I think?

This evening, it's my last post for this year, for I succeeded to see Eragon before leaving tomorrow for my trip.

I was quite very astonished to see than Eragon's author has actually put the finger on something akind to my own perception about humans/Dragons relationships.

If Paolini is calling them Dragons Riders, in my Viking Sagas, such similar magical beings to Eragon (not called Magicians, but Wizards) are these meant to ride a Dragon of their own, in a alliance akind, are called Masters of Dragons.

If Eragon and Saphira are communicating by thelepathy, in the recollection of my Viking Sagas, both Masters and their mounts are using openly the human language. The slight difference is that the Masters aren't warriors, they become it out of necessity, unlike Eragon.

However, the common point is than the Dragon's actually choosing its Rider/Master. My character of Rosenwood is known (at least into the Viking Sagas) to have rode with the one named Queen Mab. Yes, the very same Queen Mab.

What I mean is, I don't regret I went to have a look, and to see than someone might have known Dragons also in a past life to share it with us...

Eragon was awesome! I saw it this weekend.. it was great.. even better than I expected, I wonder.. they are making the 2nd one aren't they.. along with the third.. once the book comes out of course..

I agree! I thought it was very well done! Awesome! I was slightly upset at the characters and parts taken out of the movie that where in the book, but I know it's really only based on the book. It was still very good, and I really enjoyed it! I thought the way they showed Eragon and Saphira's relationship in the movie was perfect! I really enjoyed it! I loved it, and I can't wait until it comes out on DVD. I also loved the music, I have the CD. Very Eragon like music, I love it! I can't wait for the second movie, and I also eagerly await the third book in the trilogy!

Great movie, I recommend it!
