Prologue
Republic ships flew out of hyperspace to intercept the Separatist ships attempting to attack the looming planet ahead and leading the republic fighters to battle were General Obi Wan Kenobi and Commander Anakin Skywalker, the famous Jedi heroes of the Clone Wars. They were always there to foil the Separatist’s plans, swarming through the larger battle ships; Anakin was an experienced fighter and expertly weaved in between the ships as Obi Wan flew alongside him. They had fought side by side, that they were inseparable and brothers.
The Separatist’s fighters launches missiles and they targeted the two heroes, buzz droids were crawling all over Obi Wan’s ships, Anakin, ignoring Obi Wan’s warnings to stay away, easily knocked the buzz droids rolling as he smiled, “There you go Master” he told him, “Anakin, I told you to continue with our mission” he replied, “I wasn’t leaving without Master” he smirked as a fireball exploded nearby, and then another explosion, only this time, it did hit Anakin’s fighter! He suddenly Qui Gon’s voice, “Anakin! Anakin! NOOOOOO!” he shouted as Anakin heard the loving voice of his wife Padme, “I truly, love you” she whispered and then as Obi Wan tried yelling at him through the communication, Anakin’s fighter had exploded as Obi Wan watched, in horror and felt Anakin’s force sense vanish like his fighter.
Obi Wan couldn’t believe it, he was an expert pilot in the order. He couldn’t have died, but he did. He was gone. A true hero lost, if only he had listened to him and left him to handle the buzz droids, he may be still alive as Obi Wan landed his fighter back in the hanger of the assault ship, “General Kenobi, did you succeed in your mission?” Commander Cody asked, looking around, “Where is Commander Skywalker?” he asked, but seeing the soft, sad expression on Obi Wan’s face, he already knew his answer and did not ask him any more questions as he made his way to his quarters, “We will be landing on Courscant shortly” he told him before he disappeared from the hanger.
Chapter 1
Obi Wan had known that Anakin had shared a special connection to Senator Amidala, still he could not bear to break the news to her that Anakin has died, but never the less, he knew as soon as they landed on the Courscant, he needed to tell her personally and be there for her. He had already broken down in his quarters, a lump forming in his throat as he made his way through the city traffic to the Senator’s apartment in the Senatorial district.
Padme Amidala, former Queen and now Senator of Naboo, had secretly been married to Anakin Skywalker shortly after the outbreak of the Clone Wars. She had truly loved him and didn’t what she would do without him. She was quietly sitting on her bed when her droid C-3PO, that droid that Anakin had made when he was only nine years old, entered the room, “Mistress Padme, there is a Master Kenobi here to see you” he informed her as she looked up, “Is everything alright? Is Anakin with him?” she asked, “I did not see him, Miss Padme and I do not know what it is about” he replied as she moved out her room and down the stairs to her veranda, to where Obi Wan stood, she moved over to friendly greet him, “Obi Wan, is everything all right? Where is Anakin?” she asked, looking around, expecting him to surprise her, but he looked away, “I’m afraid that something terrible has happened” he replied, placing a hand on her shoulder, “Padme. Anakin has died” he went on, the lump bigger in his throat as he saw her eyes grow wide, the tears in her eyes, “Not Anakin! He couldn’t” she cried, “Padme.” He replied firmly as she turned and slowly moved her way over to the lounge, too stunned to speak, he followed her, “I’m so sorry” he whispered to her, sitting next to her. Padme Amidala could feel her heart breaking as she heard the words over and over in her head: “Anakin has died”

Chapter 2
Over the loud noise of the waterfalls and the nearby shaaks grazing on the grass, Padme looked over at Anakin, who burst into a cheeky smile and Padme broke into a natural smile, “You’re making fun of me” she told him as he shook his head, “No, no. I’d be much to frightened to tease a Senator” he laughed as Padme laughed, throwing a piece of fruit at him, then another, but he just ducked and started to juggle them as she only smiled at him.
Every night in my dreams I see you, I feel you That is how I know you go on.
Padme layed asleep against the soft, satin pillow, smiling softly, she remembered how Anakin made her laugh that day in the meadow, as she layed in her bed, she realized just how much she missed him, his touch of his fingers against her skin.
The water around the Lake Retreat shimmered, it was a beautiful picture and Padme always loved coming up here as she explained to Anakin, “Here everything is soft… and smooth” he told her, touching her hand then her back, his bright, blue eyes cutting straight through her soft brown eyes, then he came in and kissed her soft lips and she was lost in the moment
Far across the distance and spaces between us You have come to show you go on.
Padme stirred in her sleep, slowly lifting her head, she saw a little movement, like a ghostly figure moving down the stairs, her eyes went wide, did she just see Anakin? She smiled to herself, was he watching over her, saying goodbye one last time. Padme decided to get out of her soft, warm bed and moved out to sit on her lounge-he was gone. He was really gone, Padme began to weep. Why did he have to die?
Near, far, wherever you are, I believe that the heart does go on.
Padme felt strange, like she was still being watched so she moved over to her window as the sun was rising, an orange glow across the city, she stared off into the distance towards the direction of the Jedi Temple, knowing that Anakin was not going to coming back from there to hold her. She always knew that when he was there, he showed her he was coming back.
Once more you open the door And you’re here in my heart And my heart will go on and on.
Anakin stood in the background of Padme’s apartment, just watching her slowly move around, she must have been devastated when she found out that he had died. The strange thing that has happened to him that when he died, he stills like he can’t cross over to the other side because he need to watch over Padme, who was wearing a beautiful light baby blue nightdress combing through her shiny, glossy, brown hair, standing out on the balcony and with the morning light, it made her blossom which made him realize how much he missed her, wishing he could hold her again.
Padme combed through her hair, she may not know Anakin will come back to her physically but she knows in her heart that Anakin is always with her but she does not realize just how close he is, watching over her.

Chapter 3
The lake retreat was a beautiful stunning site at sunset, the roses along the railings were in full blossom and the huge, tall, green tree overcast a shadow as two droids stood off to the side, watching their masters become husband and wife. The holy man left as Anakin took Padme’s soft, small hand in his new mechanical hand and his flesh hand in her other hand as they moved in for their first kiss
Love can touch us one time
Anakin and Padme’s lips softly and romantically touched, which had showed their true love to each other and a commitment to their new life as husband and wife as they turned towards the water side as they watched the sun set, Anakin’s smile still reflecting on Padme’s soft brown eyes.
And last for a lifetime,
It was early morning on Courscant as Padme and Anakin stood on her private verdruna, hating to say goodbye as Anakin headed off on yet another mission for the Republic, “I always love you. Please come back to me” she told him, as he placed an hand on her neck, smiling, “I always have, haven’t I?” he cheekily asked as she looked into his shiny blue eyes, “I know but I worry that you won’t” she replied as he held her close, “you have no need to worry. Obi Wan and I always come back with just a few scratches” he smiled, as they shared a tender kiss before he left in his starfighter with R2
And never let go till we’re gone.
Padme stood on her balcony, watching the traffic fly in the skyline, he was gone. She had not seen his’s body arrive back on Courscant but she doubt that there was an body since Obi Wan had told her that he was blown up along with his ship. He was gone, her love had probably stayed with him all that time as she wondered if it was still with him.
Anakin stood in the Jedi Temple main chambers, he was all alone but it didn’t matter because no one could see him anyway. He was a ghost, he moved over to the huge giant glass windows looking outside. He stared out in the direction of his beloved Padme’s apartment, wishing he could hold her again. His love was so strong for her that it pained him to see her sad.
Padme sat on her small, yellow lounge, remembering how Anakin would wrap his big, strong Jedi arms around her and it would make her feel safe. She told him that she had loved him even when he was acting differently.
Love was when I loved you, one true time I hold to In my life we’ll always go on.
Anakin moved from the lounge, over to where the small, golden fountain was sprouting, pointing back at her, “make a motion in the Senate where that kind of request belongs” he told her as she just sat there, stunned at his reaction, “What is it?” she asked, “Nothing” he snapped, turning away, moving slowly over to him, she gently touched his arm, “Don’t do this. Don’t shut me out, let me help you” she told him, as she moved into his arms, “Hold me, like you did by the lake on Naboo, so long ago, when there was nothing but our love. No politics, no plotting. No war” she told him as she rested her head against his warm shoulder and he placed his head on top of her soft, brown hair.
Near-Padme sat quietly in her living room, as the sun cast an orange glow through the room, her thoughts were all about Anakin, how he was very near to her.
Far-Anakin stood in the quiet Jedi chambers staring out over the city, he felt so distant and far from Padme. How he wished he could look upon her sweet angelic face once again.
Wherever you are-Padme almost felt like she could feel a sense of Anakin around her and slowly rose to her feet and moved over to her large glass window in direction of the Jedi Temple, having a sense of Anakin wandering the Temple alone, like he was waiting for her.
I believe that the heart does go on. Once more you open the door
Padme Amidala, a strong Senator, now was facing her death in the arena alongside her two closest friends and now time to profess her love for Anakin, “I think our lives are about to be destroyed any way” she pointed out to Anakin, “I truly, deeply love you” she told him, leaning in as closer as she could get, “And before we die, I want you to know” she went on, her lips touched Anakin’s brief as they shared a sweet kiss before the cart was jerked into motion and they were met with a bright light of the arena.
Dressed in a beautiful olive long, flowing dress, complete with hood, luscious brown curls peeking through, thinking about her meeting with her fellow Senators, wishing that Anakin was coming home afterwards but he was in her heart.
And you’re here in my heart And my heart will go on and on.

Chapter 4
Note: In the first part of this chapter or depending on time, this chapter will have no lyrics matching the stories because like in the clip, the music just flowed through with memories of Anakin until we reach the climax of the song fiction]
Melody tune: My heart will gone on throughout this part
Padme was barely making it through the days without Anakin, because everything was doing, reminded her of something to do with Anakin. The way he smiled at her and looked down at her with his piercing blue eyes and charming smile. Just like he had done all the years when he re-entered her life, not as a young nine year old boy but a 19year old nearly 20 years old, young adult.
Padme excitedly made her way over to the two figures who had entered the apartment with Jar Jar, they had both changed so much, “It’s a great pleasure to see you again, M’lady” Obi Wan told her, outstretching a hand and she softly but firmly took it, “It has been far too long, Master Kenobi” she smiled, looking over to the younger man behind him, blinking twice, she gasped, “Ani? My goodness, you’ve grown” she commented as he moved forward, a smile across his face, “So have you, grown more beautiful” he replied, “Well, for a Senator, I mean” he quickly added as she laughed.“
Grown more beautiful…For a Senator….I mean” his words still echoed in her head, the first words he says to her after all those years really made her feel sweet but she held her firm by telling him, “Oh, Ani, you’ll always be that little boy. I knew on Tatooine” He was so handsome and grown up but still had his young self inside which made him be a little cheeky with her.
Padme was not happy about leaving Courscant before the vote on the Military Creation Act was cast, but Anakin had asked the Chancellor to speak with her who was very understanding and showed his concern, pleading with her until she agreed. Anakin, now moved around her bedroom as she packed her things into suitcases on the bed, pouring out his frustration about not being a Jedi Knight yet. Placing some clothes in her suitcase, she looked over at him, “Anakin, don’t try to grow up too fast” she told him, as he stood up, turning to face her, “But I am grown up” he replied, looking down at her, “You said it yourself” he added, as she looked him deep in the eye, “Please don’t look at me like that” she replied as he smiled, “Why not?” he asked, “it makes me feel uncomfortable” she put in, moving off as he smirked, “Sorry, M’lady” he muttered, with his cheeky smirk across his face.
Anakin had always had a cheeky attitude but he always made her feel comfortable and laugh. Through her years, she didn’t get much of a chance to laugh, except when she was with her family and Anakin, also made her laugh.
Padme had been uneasy about leaving Captain Typho and Dorme as she left the transport with Anakin, looking back one last time, she had to confess, “Suddenly, I’m afraid” she told him as Anakin replied, “This is my first assignment. I am too”, looking over at her, then at R2, who was trailing behind them, “Don’t worry, we have R2 with us” he smiled as she laughed cheerfully.
Padme moved into her bedroom, she had been feeling tired, like she had not much strength left, his memory constantly staying with her, filling her with memories of times together. She moved over to her med, running her hand across the silky satin sheets, resting her head on the thick, crisp pillows.
As the sun set on the lake retreat, Anakin and Padme were sitting down to a nice, quiet dinner where Anakin was indulging her in stories of Obi Wan and his’s adventures as their meals were brought to them, “And when I got to them, we went into aggressive negotiations” he explained, thanking the young maiden who had brought out the fruit, “Aggressive negotiations? What’s that?” she asked in a casual tone, “Oh well, negotiations with a lightsaber” he replied as she laughed, picking up her cutlery to cut her fruit, but before she could touch it, it floated from her bowl and she looked up at Anakin, who was smiling cheekily as he manipulated the fruit using the force into his bowl, “If Master Obi Wan caught me doing this, he’d be very grumpy” he laughed as Padme looked at him, as he cut the fruit up and sent a piece back over to her, she giggled, reached out for her and took it on her fork, taking a small bite, as Anakin smiled back at her.
He had used his force tricks to make her smile and it worked, she could relax more around him, especially on Naboo, especially the kiss he planted on her, which caused her feelings to come out for him but not too much.
The water sparkled, flowers bloomed and the huge green, leafy trees cast shadows over the lake retreat, as the small boat came to a stop and a well dressed young Jedi helped out the beautiful Senator from Naboo, dressed in a stunning pink and cream long dress, making their way over to the railing, “We would lie out on the sand and let the sun dry us and try to guess the names of the birds singing” Padme told him, as Anakin spoke up, “I don’t like sand. It’s coarse, rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere” looking up at her, “Not like here, here everything is soft and smooth” he added, reaching out, he gently started to stroke her arm, then her back, before she turned her bright brown eyes towards him, he smiled down at her, then edged in closer and she let her lips touched his, then after a minute, she pulled away, “No, I shouldn’t have done that” she informed him, “I’m sorry” Anakin whispered, his eyes in a flutter as they stared out over the shimmering lake.
From that one kiss, sparkled a hidden romance that they turned into their secret marriage and it was a beautiful wedding:
Melody tune: My heart will gone on throughout this part
With the sun set, casting a light pink, blue glow over the retreat, Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker stood before a Naboo holy man as he blessed them, their droids, R2-D2 and C-3PO off to the side, the only witness. After a few minute, the holy man walked off and Anakin took Padme’s right hand in his new mechanical right hand, she felt the cool, brisk wires tickling her hand and his flesh hand in her left hand, and sealing the wedding with a soft, romantic kiss against the backdrop of Naboo’s sunset.
Anakin stood in the small hallway off Padme’s bedroom, just watching her sleep, so peaceful, the soft rise and fall of her belly, her hands clasped on top of her belly, he wanted to move closer but didn’t. He wished he could hold her in his strong arms once again. He loved her. He needed her, but he stayed to watch over her.

Chapter 5
This chapter starts off with a little introduction which will lead into the final part of the song
Obi Wan had been keeping a close friendship with Padme ever since telling her that Anakin was dead. She had taken it really hard and become quiet and withdrawn at times, like she never stopped thinking about him. He knew that Anakin and Padme held a very close relationship ever since they met all those years ago. What he didn’t know was that Anakin and Padme were secretly married and she was pregnant with Anakin’s children.
Padme had been feeling more tired lately and being pregnant made her more careful of not over doing her work so that there was no any more stress on the baby. Every time she felt the baby kick, she cried, because Anakin was not here to share this time with her. It was getting close now and any day, they would be born, but could she live alone without Anakin after the birth was the question.
A sharp pain jerked Padme into reality and awake from her sleep, this wasn’t a normal pain, her sheets felt wet and she was starting to sweat, she breathed hard in pain, gripping the sheets tightly under her fingers, the baby was coming!
Obi Wan slowly entered the apartment so that he didn’t spook her, but he had a feeling he needed to come here as if Anakin was telling him through the force, Padme needed help. Hearing a loud cry, he ran through to the bedroom and saw Padme sitting upright on the bed, sweating, crying and gripping the sheets, “Padme! What’s wrong?” he asked, in worry, “I need to go to the medical centre now!” she cried and without any more delaying, he lifted her into his arms, and ran from the apartment, before it was too late.
You’re here, there’s nothing I fear
Padme layed on the cold, medical table in a long white grown as they prepared for the delivery of her children, twins as Obi Wan had told her, as she layed there, she knew Anakin was here around her, watching her but she still missed him and she slowly decides to let her life die away.
Anakin stood in the hallway of Padme’s apartment; she was in labour having his children, he wanted to be with her, but he couldn’t. He watched Obi Wan run out with Padme in his arms, she was in pain. Then he felt something, another bond, it was Padme’s, she was dying, hoping to be reunited with him
And I know that my heart will go on.
Padme screamed in pain as they delivered her children, a beautiful boy and girl, she names Luke and Leia, as Obi Wan pleaded with her to stay strong for the twins but she couldn’t, before she died, she whispered, “Obi Wan, please take care of the twins” as she reached out and touched Leia’s head one more time, before she closed her eyes. Obi Wan stood there, with a crying Leia in his arms, looking down at the soft, gentle, still body of Padme.
Chapter 6
Note: The final paragraph is in a different colour to show the afterlife where Anakin and Padme are reunited once again like the clip finishes
The water softly flowed underneath the bridge as crowds lined the street to say goodbye to a beautiful and strong willed Senator was gentle guided through the quiet but crowded streets. Her hair flowed with gorgeous flowers in the luscious curls on her head and a beautiful, long, dark blue like the waters of Naboo perfectly suited her figure. Her soft eyes were closed and in her hands, clasped the one thing that remained special to her all these years, the japor snippet that her loving husband had made her for her when he was nine years old.
Obi Wan stood back watching the body of his close friend past him and he felt a tear fall down his cheek, first Qui Gon, then Anakin and now Padme. All his friends were dying, now there were two young twins in the galaxy who will never know their real parents. He couldn’t help but force a slight smile, perhaps Padme was reunited with Anakin now.
We’ll stay forever this way, You are safe in my heart,
Padme stood in the Senate hallway, but it didn’t feel like the Senate, there were huge, giant, gray pillars but there was a lot of white light shinning down. Her hair was tightly held on either side of her head in two neat brown buns and a beautiful, gorgeous, deep purple enriched her figure. She suddenly felt so alone, then she spied a familiar figure nearby and her heart lifted
And my heart will go on and on
Anakin sensed the familiar presence and fastly spun around, then he saw her, she was here! But how? He didn’t matter; she was here, to make him feel loved. Picking up a fast sprint, he saw her opening up her arms, where he lifted her into the air, spinning her around. She felt so warm and she smelt beautiful, “Oh Anakin” she whispered into his ear as he smiled, “This is the happiest day of my life” he replied, holding her close to him where they finally at last, shared the tender, passionate kiss they were waiting for. Their hearts were together once again.
