Title: “Can you feel Hayden and Natalie’s love tonight?”
Song: Can you feel the love tonight?”-the beginning and ending are in dialogue and I’ve chosen to use Ewan [Timon] and Daniel [Pumbaa]. The beginning and end of the song fiction are new paragraphs and the paragraphs during the song, were taken from the story
Summary:
This takes place three months after ‘A Chance Romance’s’ epilogue, Hayden and Natalie now have their beautiful baby and they have decided to hold a party for their family and friends, celebrating the birth of their baby, and taking time out, Ewan and Daniel reflect on how Hayden and Natalie have come to this and what their love is all about.
Beginning of the song fiction
Three months after Christmas, Ewan, Daniel, Emma, Mischa, Nicole and Rachel all received word that Natalie had gone into labour and given birth to a healthy gorgeous, baby girl, they decided to name Jodie. When asked, who does Jodie look more like, everyone all agreed that there was both Hayden and Natalie in her, through photos Natalie and Hayden had sent via email to their family and friends. Only 5 weeks after the birth, everyone all showed up, to celebrate Hayden and Natalie’s bundle of joy, with a small party. The house was filled with talk, laughs and music, as everyone fussed over Jodie, who slept silently in Natalie’s or Hayden’s arms, with Rachel and Emma gushing the most, too excited they were chosen to be godparents along with Ewan and Daniel, who had moved out onto the back porch, with their, drinks, seeing the sun begin to sip beyond view, they observed how the smiles never left Hayden and Natalie’s faces, her arms around him as he held Jodie in his arms, distracted by hearing Ewan give a small laugh, Daniel turned to him, confused, “What is it?” he asked-
Ewan:
I can see what’s happening

Hayden was back in the cab and driving along the street when he saw her again and he knew who it was! He had to blink twice as he couldn’t believe it. “Stop the cab!” he demanded and the driver came to halt, he opened the door, he had to try it and yelled “Natalie!” with luck, she turned around, he walked over to her, as she walked to him, “Hayden! Oh my god, it’s been too long. How are you?” she asked, hugging him, “Good, but I am still reeling with your lost” he replied as she looked down, “I am sorry about that, I still care for you” she said, “You promise to keep in contact and it’s been two years!” he exclaimed, “I’ve been busy and from what I’ve heard you too” she snapped back, “I tried to call but you never answer” he told her, “I’m sorry but now that you are here, would you like to get together some time?” she asked sweetly, “Maybe, I am in town with a friend, I’ll see” he replied, “Let me know, I love to get in touch again” she replied and headed down the street, Hayden smiled as he watched her go, her hair was bouncing back which he was glad to see, she acted like they were always friends and nothing else, he would get in touch with her as he headed back to the cab and back his place with Rachel.

Arriving at the beautiful country side of Lake Como, Natalie had never seen a more beautiful places, red roses blossomed everywhere, a perfect place for two people to fall in love. Natalie looked over at Hayden, who smiled back at her causing her to blush. She moved over to the railing as Hayden came up behind her, slipping his hands around her tiny frame, “Hey princess” he whispered as she giggled, “it’s good to hear your voice” as he kissed her neck, “I was just admiring how magical this place is, isn’t it?” he asked as she turn to look in his sparkling blue eyes, “Yes, it is” she replied as she shared a romantic kiss against the backdrop.

Natalie, now stood in the dark, cold street, with arms around her waist and a hand over her mouth, with those same blue eyes she had seen all those years ago. “Hayden? What are you doing?” she asked again, when he dropped his hand from her mouth. “To show you that I love you and you love me and no one else” he smiled, “Oh Hayden, that is so sweet but times have changed” she spoke as he put a finger to her lips, “Before you go on, I want to show you why” he said, lifting her into his arms, he carried her to his waiting vehicle.

Natalie placed her hands on Hayden’s face, “I always have love you but I buried my feelings away, thinking that I was over you but I wasn’t” she told him as he smiled, “I knew that you were, even when you said yes to Jude” he replied, kissing her neck, running his hand down her waist, as she giggled, feeling his soft, strong hand on her body and his sweet, luscious lips against hers. It was all too perfect except for: “Natalie! What are you doing!?!” came the voice, as both turned around to see Jude standing at the door, with his arms folded in front of him, Natalie was too shocked as Hayden smirked, “Looks like you have lost another one” he teased him, standing up, his muscularly body making Jude more mad, “You have crossed the line” he told him, taking a step towards him as Rachel ran in, in between them, “I won’t let you hurt him” she cried as Hayden placed his hands on her shoulders, “Look around, your lover boy has been spending tonight with my finance!” he yelled, as she turned to look at Hayden, her eyes filled with tears, “Please, tell me it isn’t true. I thought you loved me” she cried, her hands on his strong chest, Hayden looked into her bold, brown, now filled with tears, he couldn’t stand to see her like this, “I..I..I” he started before Jude cut in, “You see he can’t even tell you cause it’s truth” he laughed as Rachel cried into his chest, “How could you do this?” she cried as Jude moved over to Natalie, grabbing her by her wrist, “It’s such a shame, but I am taking her back” he smirked as she tried to pull back, “No, I can’t come back with you” she told him as he told her, “You’re only upset, you don’t know what you are saying” he replied as Hayden moved forward, “She loves me, she told me” he told him, with Rachel crying on his chest, too distressed to talk, “No, I don’t care. I love her. I proposed to her and we are getting married” he replied, “In one week” he added, causing Natalie to gasp, “I can’t do that” she cried, “I love you and we are” he told her, pulling her by her wrist out of the room, Hayden tried to follow but he turned back, “Follow me and I’ll kill you” he threatened him, as he stepped back, “You’ll get yours” he muttered, seeing Natalie fight her way out of his grasp as he pulled her out of the room.

The moon was in full bloom when they reached the harbour bridge, he had covered her eyes with a blindfold along the way, so she didn’t know where they were but it felt like they were going up as he took her hand up the stairs which felt like forever. When at last, they were at the top and Hayden pulled the blindfold off and she saw where they were-on top of the Harbour Bridge with the city sparkling below them, like a painting-she turned to look at him, “Hayden, I heard no idea you were going to do this” she told him as he replied, “I’ve always wanted you to see the city from this view” then he got down on one knee as she gasped, “Natalie, I knew that I always wanted to be with you and seeing with another man, killed me. I love you and I want to be with you” he told her, taking a small box and opening it, “So, Natalie, will you marry me?” he asked as her hands started to shake and tears fell down her face, “Yes, Hayden. I will” she cried as he slipped the beautiful sapphire diamond ring on her finger and she pulled him and kissed him on top of the bridge.

Natalie spent the morning in Hayden’s arms, staring down at the ring that was placed on her finger last night; it was so beautiful, “Oh Hayden, this ring is gorgeous. It must have costed you a fortune” she told him as he kissed her on her neck, “Nothing is too expensive for my one and only” he replied, as she turned to look into his pretty boy blue eyes, “Not even Jude has said that to me” she told him, pushing him down, placing her hands on his face and kissing his soft lips as he kissed her lips back, “I have always loved you and now we are together forever” he told her, sitting up, “Today, I have another surprise for you” he told her, pulling her off the lounge and running out of the room

Hayden always remembered that. It was when he had truly fallen in love with her and now he wondered what Rachel had planned. The cab came to a stop and she took his hand and led him up the pathway and stairs into the Colosseum. It was full of fairy lights, roses and flowers, a table for two and soft music. She led him up to the balcony, where she undid the blindfold and he saw everything. It was magical-he couldn’t believe it. “I wanted us to have a special night that showed our love together” she told him as he smiled and pulled her into an embrace, “This is amazing. I love you” he told her as she layed her head on his shoulder, she smiled-it was working. He looked at her and kissed her, before she led him over to the table, where they kissed as their food was brought over. It was a perfect night-with no interruptions from pesky ex lovers.

“Yes. But even more beautiful when I am with you” he replied as she blushed and brought her hands up to his face and whispered “Oh Hayden, you are so sweet” before running her fingers through his blond wavy hair which was starting to grow back. He placed a hand on the side of her face and came down to kiss her and as the stars sparkled in the sky above, Hayden and Rachel shared a sparkling passionate kiss on the balcony.

Hayden could not believe what he had heard-how could she say yes? When he could see how she was confused by feelings for Jude and him. He needed to show her that she didn’t love him, so he didn’t have any control what he said next, “You can’t do that! You don’t love him!” Hayden exclaimed, as Jude, Natalie and Rachel looked at him, “I think she just did” Jude smirked, with his arms around Natalie’s waist, “Well, I think you’ve gone too far” he replied, “And I think you should leave now” Jude added, opening the door, as Rachel placed through her arm through Hayden’s but he didn’t budge, “I’m not leaving until I hear that Natalie is happy to get married” he explained, he could see that she would lie because her tears said otherwise, “I’m sorry Hayden but I love Jude and I am going to marry him” she replied, as he looked down, how could she say that as he left with Rachel, secretly vowing that he would bring out the truth feelings for him.

Natalie headed into the restaurant on Jude’s arm, not noticing the next car to pull up, out stepped a handsome young man who helped out a gorgeous young brunette in a strapless pale pink dress with sparkling jewellery, she looked up at the restaurant and turned to kiss her man “You continue to surprise me” she told her as he smiled, “It’s because I love you” he told her and wrapped her with his arms and led her into the restaurant and after checking in, they followed the waiter to their table, it was in a lovely spot but Hayden couldn’t believe who was a few tables away, their eyes met and he moved over to her, trying to remain calm but he couldn’t, he yelled “What are you doing here!” as Natalie looked up, “Hayden! What’s going on? Are you following me?” she asked, then she saw the girl on his arm, “Who’s she?” she asked and Hayden noticed the man next to her, “Who’s he?” he demanded, “This is my new boyfriend” she answered, “What!?! You said that we would be together after we made the time together” he explained, “Things happen” she told him as he became more angry, “Well then, I was left heartbroken when you called it off, so now Rachel and I are in love” he told her, he couldn’t believe what he had said, as he noticed Natalie’s reaction to what he said, and moved off to his table, with Rachel on his arm.

Natalie sprung to the door, hoping Jude was there so she could wash away Hayden’s feelings with his luscious lips, only to find two people who she did not want to see at that very moment. “What are you doing here?” she asked as Rachel pushed past her, dragging Hayden with her until they were in the centre of the room, “How dare you enter uninvited!” she exclaimed, as Rachel spun around, “How dare you have my boyfriend become upset again while you are off kissing your lover boy!” she yelled back, “I can do what I want. I am with Jude and he loves me, he’ll just have to accept it” she replied, Natalie couldn’t believe she was saying these words and he was so cute! “Ever since he’s seen you here, he has been having mixed feelings when he should be having fun!” she yelled

In the early days of preparing for filming Episode 3, Natalie had been having a relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal and she really loved him ever since they met and became lovers but when she started spending time in rehearsals, dress fittings and hair and make up, she found herself seeing her friends Hayden and Ewan more, even finding herself falling for her handsome leading man with his wavy, blond hair and sexy blue eyes which made her weak at the knees. She was so in love that he was all she could think about causing her to end her relationship with Jake, staying friends and starting a relationship with Hayden that she always wanted.

Can you wait till I am out of the room?” Ewan asked, jokingly, ducking again as a cushion flew at him.

I guess Ewan and Hayden finished up and were coming to meet us” Nicole smirked as Mischa rolled her eyes, “Okay, I guess I was wrong but we should keep moving” she replied, unfortunately Natalie and Hayden were thinking one step further, “We have to get out of here, Jude is probably searching for me now” she put in as Hayden held her close, “I agree, I never want to lose you again” he smiled as Ewan laughed, “It’s so nice to see my two friends back together” he told them as they smiled cheerfully over at him before running right down the hallway, the loud shouts coming from the other end, coming closer and closer but they were faster and had burst out the huge, white front door, into Nicole’s black parked car, speeding away down the long, grey road.

You up for some fun?” the first asked as Ewan smirked, “Well, that is why we are here for” as the girls giggled “Well, do you mind if we join you?” the first asked as he laughed, “For sure, like to introduce yourselves, ladies” he smirked as they blushed once again, “I’m Kimberly, my friend to the left is Stephanie and to my right, is my friend Michelle and you might be?” she asked, “Well, I’m Ewan and these are my friends Hayden and Daniel” he smiled as Kimberly returned the laugh, “Well, boys, do you dance?” she asked watching them shrug and look away as Stephanie spoke up, “I think they’re shy, Kim” she told her as Michelle added, “We’ll show them how then” as Kimberly pulled Ewan, Stephanie grabbed Hayden and Michelle grabbed Daniel right onto the dance floor onto several of the large dance stages the club had to offer, seductively dancing real close to the boys, who started to loosen up, although Hayden was wondering if he should really be doing this, but he let his worries wash away as he saw Ewan and Daniel enjoying Kimberly and Michelle’s company so he decided to show Stephanie how much fun he could be.

The moon was in full bloom when they reached the harbour bridge, he had covered her eyes with a blindfold along the way, so she didn’t know where they were but it felt like they were going up as he took her hand up the stairs which felt like forever. When at last, they were at the top and Hayden pulled the blindfold off and she saw where they were-on top of the Harbour Bridge with the city sparkling below them, like a painting-she turned to look at him, “Hayden, I heard no idea you were going to do this” she told him as he replied, “I’ve always wanted you to see the city from this view” then he got down on one knee as she gasped, “Natalie, I knew that I always wanted to be with you and seeing with another man, killed me. I love you and I want to be with you” he told her, taking a small box and opening it, “So, Natalie, will you marry me?” he asked as her hands started to shake and tears fell down her face, “Yes, Hayden. I will” she cried as he slipped the beautiful sapphire diamond ring on her finger and she pulled him and kissed him on top of the bridge.

It must have costed you a fortune” she told him as he kissed her on her neck, “Nothing is too expensive for my one and only” he replied, as she turned to look into his pretty boy blue eyes, “Not even Jude has said that to me” she told him, pushing him down, placing her hands on his face and kissing his soft lips as he kissed her lips back, “I have always loved you and now we are together forever” he told her, sitting up, “Today, I have another surprise for you” he told her, pulling her off the lounge and running out of the room

Hayden always remembered that. It was when he had truly fallen in love with her and now he wondered what Rachel had planned. The cab came to a stop and she took his hand and led him up the pathway and stairs into the Colosseum. It was full of fairy lights, roses and flowers, a table for two and soft music. She led him up to the balcony, where she undid the blindfold and he saw everything. It was magical-he couldn’t believe it. “I wanted us to have a special night that showed our love together” she told him as he smiled and pulled her into an embrace, “This is amazing. I love you” he told her as she layed her head on his shoulder, she smiled-it was working. He looked at her and kissed her, before she led him over to the table, where they kissed as their food was brought over. It was a perfect night-with no interruptions from pesky ex lovers.

But even more beautiful when I am with you” he replied as she blushed and brought her hands up to his face and whispered “Oh Hayden, you are so sweet” before running her fingers through his blond wavy hair which was starting to grow back. He placed a hand on the side of her face and came down to kiss her and as the stars sparkled in the sky above, Hayden and Rachel shared a sparkling passionate kiss on the balcony.

Hayden could not believe what he had heard-how could she say yes? When he could see how she was confused by feelings for Jude and him. He needed to show her that she didn’t love him, so he didn’t have any control what he said next, “You can’t do that! You don’t love him!” Hayden exclaimed, as Jude, Natalie and Rachel looked at him, “I think she just did” Jude smirked, with his arms around Natalie’s waist, “Well, I think you’ve gone too far” he replied, “And I think you should leave now” Jude added, opening the door, as Rachel placed through her arm through Hayden’s but he didn’t budge, “I’m not leaving until I hear that Natalie is happy to get married” he explained, he could see that she would lie because her tears said otherwise, “I’m sorry Hayden but I love Jude and I am going to marry him” she replied, as he looked down, how could she say that as he left with Rachel, secretly vowing that he would bring out the truth feelings for him.

Natalie headed into the restaurant on Jude’s arm, not noticing the next car to pull up, out stepped a handsome young man who helped out a gorgeous young brunette in a strapless pale pink dress with sparkling jewellery, she looked up at the restaurant and turned to kiss her man “You continue to surprise me” she told her as he smiled, “It’s because I love you” he told her and wrapped her with his arms and led her into the restaurant and after checking in, they followed the waiter to their table, it was in a lovely spot but Hayden couldn’t believe who was a few tables away, their eyes met and he moved over to her, trying to remain calm but he couldn’t, he yelled “What are you doing here!” as Natalie looked up, “Hayden! What’s going on? Are you following me?” she asked, then she saw the girl on his arm, “Who’s she?” she asked and Hayden noticed the man next to her, “Who’s he?” he demanded, “This is my new boyfriend” she answered, “What!?! You said that we would be together after we made the time together” he explained, “Things happen” she told him as he became more angry, “Well then, I was left heartbroken when you called it off, so now Rachel and I are in love” he told her, he couldn’t believe what he had said, as he noticed Natalie’s reaction to what he said, and moved off to his table, with Rachel on his arm.

Natalie sprung to the door, hoping Jude was there so she could wash away Hayden’s feelings with his luscious lips, only to find two people who she did not want to see at that very moment. “What are you doing here?” she asked as Rachel pushed past her, dragging Hayden with her until they were in the centre of the room, “How dare you enter uninvited!” she exclaimed, as Rachel spun around, “How dare you have my boyfriend become upset again while you are off kissing your lover boy!” she yelled back, “I can do what I want. I am with Jude and he loves me, he’ll just have to accept it” she replied, Natalie couldn’t believe she was saying these words and he was so cute! “Ever since he’s seen you here, he has been having mixed feelings when he should be having fun!” she yelled

In the early days of preparing for filming Episode 3, Natalie had been having a relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal and she really loved him ever since they met and became lovers but when she started spending time in rehearsals, dress fittings and hair and make up, she found herself seeing her friends Hayden and Ewan more, even finding herself falling for her handsome leading man with his wavy, blond hair and sexy blue eyes which made her weak at the knees. She was so in love that he was all she could think about causing her to end her relationship with Jake, staying friends and starting a relationship with Hayden that she always wanted.

You and me, together for ever, it killed me seeing Rachel all over you” she told him as he looked into her shiny, brown eyes, “I wanted to come over to you and pull you away from Jude and I have” he smiled, carrying her over to the bed where he took off his shirt to reveal his strong sexy muscles making her all flustered, as she slipped off her coat to reveal her silky sexy dress then he looked down in her beautiful eyes and kissed with the smell of the red roses filling the room.

As Ewan watched the sleeping forms of Hayden and Natalie, he saw a movement in between and ducked down behind the bench, as Hayden sat up, holding his head, like Ewan, he had a throbbing headache and he didn’t know how he got it, he looked over at Natalie, smiling slightly in her sleep, he looked around the room and saw a lot of empty bottles, sheets and clothes everywhere, Ewan was no where to be seen, he started to get up when he was pulled back down, “Where do you think you’re going?” the voice asked and he turned to see Natalie holding on his arm, “Thought you were asleep” he told her, “I was until I could not feel you next to me” she replied as he smiled his most cutest smile, making her blush, rubbing her head, “Do you have a pounding head like mine?” she asked, as he kissed her lips, “Yes and I can’t remember why” he replied as Ewan popped up, “Well, I might vaguely remember something” he spoke up, making them jump, “Ewan! What are you doing back there?” Natalie asked, “Waiting for the right time to pop up” he smirked, ducking as a pillow came his way, as Hayden and Natalie got up and moved over to the kitchen, “So what are we doing today, lovers?” he asked, Hayden only laughed, “first, getting rid of this pounding headache and then maybe head out to Bondi Beach” he told him, “that sounds lovely” Natalie spoke up, slipping her hands around his waist before he leaned in to kiss her, “Oh not again. Can you wait till I am out of the room?” Ewan asked, jokingly, ducking again as a cushion flew at him.

Hayden and Natalie clinged to each other tightly, Natalie felt like it had been eternity since she last saw Hayden, feeling his heart beating in his strong chest, his sweet, soft lips pressed lightly across her’s, “Oh Hayden, I knew you would come for me” she whispered softly into his ear as he smiled, “I could never let you go, you are the one true love in my life” he replied, as she held him tight, “Oh Hayden” she whispered while from both ends of the long, dimly lit hallway, Ewan, Nicole and Mischa stared in pure happiness, “Well, Mischa looks like you were wrong. I guess Ewan and Hayden finished up and were coming to meet us” Nicole smirked as Mischa rolled her eyes, “Okay, I guess I was wrong but we should keep moving” she replied, unfortunately Natalie and Hayden were thinking one step further, “We have to get out of here, Jude is probably searching for me now” she put in as Hayden held her close, “I agree, I never want to lose you again” he smiled as Ewan laughed, “It’s so nice to see my two friends back together” he told them as they smiled cheerfully over at him before running right down the hallway, the loud shouts coming from the other end, coming closer and closer but they were faster and had burst out the huge, white front door, into Nicole’s black parked car, speeding away down the long, grey road.

Bursting with colourful, party people, Ewan, Hayden and Daniel found themselves right in the heart of Sydney’s clubbing district, nothing like they had seen before, “This is something different I’ve never seen before” Daniel yelled over all the noise as Ewan laughed, “Well, then we’ll have to get you right into the atmosphere” he assured him as Hayden was quick to point out, “None of your special ‘lady’ clubs like on the night of my surprise wedding” he told him as Ewan groaned, “Oh man, that’s no fun, the kid need to be introduced to the high life” he laughed as Hayden shot him a cold, hard look as Daniel let out a laugh, “You took him to a strip club on the night of his wedding?” he laughed as Ewan shrugged innocently, “Hey, it was his last night as a single guy, it’s tradition” he answered back as Daniel laughed hardly while Hayden rolled his eyes, “Never mind, just where are we going now?” he asked, as Ewan slightly moved to the left, “Right here, a nightclub, where everything goes and anything that happens, stays inside the club” he smirked as Hayden exchanged a glance with Daniel, “Just when I thought he couldn’t get any worse then last time” he muttered before following Ewan inside the club, where they were flustered with bright, colourful lights and loud, booming dance music and crowds of interesting, colourful people, as they manoeuvred their way through to the bar across the dance floor, feeling the eyes of all the girls in the nightclub, staring and smiling at them as they smiled back, Hayden smirked, “I have to admit, this time you really have made it feel like a true, fun guy’s night out” he yelled over at the music, “I wouldn’t let Natalie hear you say that” Daniel informed him as Hayden smirked, “Like Ewan said, what happens in this club, stays in this club, so I can have my fun but not in any way that hurts Natalie” he assured him, sipping his drink, watching as three, young, sexy brunettes, dressed in sparkling halter neck tops and hipster, denim jeans, made their way over to the trio, “Haven’t seen you around her before? You up for some fun?” the first asked as Ewan smirked, “Well, that is why we are here for” as the girls giggled “Well, do you mind if we join you?” the first asked as he laughed, “For sure, like to introduce yourselves, ladies” he smirked as they blushed once again, “I’m Kimberly, my friend to the left is Stephanie and to my right, is my friend Michelle and you might be?” she asked, “Well, I’m Ewan and these are my friends Hayden and Daniel” he smiled as Kimberly returned the laugh, “Well, boys, do you dance?” she asked watching them shrug and look away as Stephanie spoke up, “I think they’re shy, Kim” she told her as Michelle added, “We’ll show them how then” as Kimberly pulled Ewan, Stephanie grabbed Hayden and Michelle grabbed Daniel right onto the dance floor onto several of the large dance stages the club had to offer, seductively dancing real close to the boys, who started to loosen up, although Hayden was wondering if he should really be doing this, but he let his worries wash away as he saw Ewan and Daniel enjoying Kimberly and Michelle’s company so he decided to show Stephanie how much fun he could be.

They watched how Hayden stood with his brother and younger sister, while still holding Jodie and Natalie’s arm around him, he had found love and it made him happy, he had a wife, and a daughter, something they thought would never have seen from him-he would spend less time at nightclubs with them and more time with Natalie and Jodie, like all men do once they’re married. They were still disappointed about that, but overwhelmed that Hayden and Natalie had truly found love in each other.
