Oh, no, surely not, your old dad got himself into that suit doing the laundry one day ... This is a bit different from what you've done before - I notice Vader still seems to be brainwashed into believing the Empire brings peace (and that the Jedi had been plotting to take over?) Be interesting to see how this plays out!

Good question Padme has - training them as a Sith? Obviously that's what he intends (from his thoughts) but I'm wondering how easy it will be for him to do it; he's so direct and undevious even as a Sith himself (don't like someone's performance - instant death! None of this slow torture for fun and "instruction"). I can't see him being ABLE to trick them into it (which is what snared him), and I think they're too old to accidentally choose (at least I hope Obi-Wan's teaching didn't go to waste on them). Let's see what he's got planned (and how he can keep the Emperor from finding out).

I have been reading this story since it was first posted. I have been enjoying it tremendously.
I like the Vader in your story; he is definitely dark but one can see the light beginning to penetrate: through his children, especially Leia; through Padme and his own memories of her; through revelations that you have hinted at but, I feel, will become reality soon enough.
Good job!

Ok - you've got me so hooked on your stories! Amazing how you can write basically about the same thing - but a different turn to each of them.
Now this one - Vader is still pretty stuck - it seems - in the darkness - but is there light trying to shine through? ..... I love how those kids just love him without condition. And now some the of truth comes out, injuries could be repaired, told vader padme was dead...... very interesting. I hope that he comes to his senses and turns around before those kids get sucked into the darkness.
I can't wait for Ani and Padme to finally give up hiding that they still love each other - the reunion is going to be good. Hopefully, there will be one.
anyways - more, more more!!!!!

I suppose he can give the Emperor an excuse that they went to Kamino for the clones' benefit? Or would he be risking another torture session? And is it too much to hope for that the Kaminoans can not only repair his injuries but also his heart? Or will that be a bit more on the magical side, given the title?
It seems that in this story the kids can reach him almost easier than Padme can ...

This story continues to intrigue me. You're keeping Vader as Vader, yet one can detect the chink in his armor, namely, the kids. Seeing Padme in a bikini seems to have helped as well.

It's all too much for Vader. Very emotional trip with him. Does going to Kamino mean he's going to get healed or are you not healing him this time? I must wait and see!

After Chapter 15:
I continue to read this story in great gulps. I am enjoying Vader/Anakin's encounters with Luke and Leia. Very nicely written. He certainly is having a difficult time with Padme, though, as old feelings begin to surface. Nice touch to have Threepio in the story calling him Master Ani. I liked that quite a lot.

It is certainly interesting to watch the interactions between Vader and the emperor as Vader's hatred of him is growing.
It is also interesting to note the conflict within Vader and his fight to disallow it, and that it isn't working. Slowly, I see him melting down.
