1. This is the Star Wars and Friends Crossover of the episode ‘The Last One’, so enjoy!
2. Anakin and Padme are leaving Courscant for Naboo to raise their newborn twins Luke and Leia and so much of their time, is becoming parents and packing up the apartment
3. Obi Wan decides that he is in love with Sabe and wants to be with her. They have a daughter, Jessie, though she is only mentioned by name in this episode. There is also reference to a child named Han, who is Obi Wan’s son from another relationship and is for the story only
4. Eirtae is married to James and he appears briefly in this story
5. I was going to make Anakin and Obi Wan brothers again however after coming across something of interest, I decided that for this episode Padme and Obi Wan are brother and sister. You’ll see why but he is still the uncle
6. There is a chick and a duck for all of you who know friends and there are some funny scenes with them

Summary
While it is a time of joyous news that Padme and Anakin are finally having their baby, everyone knows that there is sadness that follows-Padme and Anakin are still leaving to have their family on Naboo and Sabe is leaving, with Obi Wan and her’s daughter Jessie to start a new job on Alderaan. Obi Wan wants to tell her how he feels about her but struggles, only with Eirtae and Palo’s help can he decide that he wants to be with and races to tell her? Question is, will she stay with him or leave?

Story-Padme and Anakin’s apartment

Eirtae and Palo were continuing to pack up Anakin and Padme’s apartment, Padme had gone into labour only 2 hours ago and was at the medical centre right now. They left Eirtae and Palo in charge of packing, Palo had just finished sealing one of the kitchen boxes when Eirtae stopped him,

Eirtae: “Oh you know, Padme’s going to freak if every box isn’t labelled” she pointed out seeing Palo freeze, for she was right,

Palo: “Oh yeah, you’re right” he replied, taking a black marker from the table,

Palo: “Uh, box of…” he begins to write, before he thinks of the next word, “Crap” he finished placing the box to the side, before adding more of his excitement,

Palo: “Wow, it’s wild, when Padme and Anakin get back, they are going to have a baby. A baby!” as Eirtae smiles

Eirtae: “I know.” She replied as she realised, “Oh wait, Obi Wan doesn’t know the baby’s coming. Should we call and tell him?” she asked seeing Palo grit his teeth together,

Palo: “I don’t know, Sabe’s still over there, yelling at him” he informed her, shaking his head, “Poor guy, I do not want to be him right now” he added


Setting-Obi Wan’s apartment

The light brown door to the bedroom, flew open and in came Sabe and Obi Wan, with her arms wrapped around his neck, and his’s around her waist, their lips locked together, when realisation hit Sabe,

Sabe: “Wait, wait, should we be doing this?” she asked, a sense of hesitance in her voice as Obi Wan agreed,

Obi Wan: “Uh, I don’t know” he replied as Sabe went on,
Sabe: “It’s probably not a really good idea” as he nodded,

Obi Wan: “Yeah, probably not” he echoed her response as they both remained silent for the next few minutes before Sabe snapped,

Sabe: “Well, that never stopped us before!” she pointed out as Obi Wan smirked,

Obi Wan: “No sir!” he exclaimed before the two once more locked lips, moving over to the bed.


Setting: Courscant Medical Centre

In a moderate sized room, Padme comfortably positioned herself in the hospital bed, she had changed into a long white grown, with her luscious brown curls pinned behind her, her contractions were coming along but the medics told them it would be awhile, Anakin helped her along, wiping the sweat off of her forehead and bringing her drinks of water to cool her down,

Anakin: “I can’t believe that in a couple of hours we’re going to be parents!” he gushed as Padme smiled, loving another factor

Padme: “I can’t believe our baby is three weeks early. I love that our baby is prompt!” she exclaimed, through her tired almost breathless voice, seeing him laugh, breathing once more, she pointed out

Padme: “The medics tell us that it will be awhile” as Anakin smiled,

Anakin: “You’re going to be fine, I promise” he assured her, before they shared a sweet, tender kiss together


Setting-Obi Wan’s apartment

As the morning approached, Sabe had gotten dressed and was now sitting on the edge of Obi Wan’s bed, putting on her shoes, as Obi Wan crawled over to her, from under the sheets,

Obi Wan: “Hey” he spoke as Sabe smiled, moving so that she was squatting down in front of him,

Sabe: “Shh, go back to sleep. I have to go home” she informed him as Obi Wan held her hands in his’s giving her kisses,
Obi Wan: “Oh god, this was amazing” he told her

Sabe: “It really was” she agreed, adding, “You’ve learnt some new moves” as he laughed,

Obi Wan: “Yeah, well, a guy at work gave me this book ‘*** for dummies’ as a joke” he informed her, “Who’s laughing now?” he asked as she laughed,

Sabe: “I am” she told him, with another tender, kiss together


Setting-Medical Centre

Padme breathed once more, as another contraction finished, Anakin stroking her arm slowly, helping her through,

“Breathe, sweetie, just breathe” he kept telling her as she flopped her head back on the pillow, and Anakin gave her a small kiss,

Anakin: “You done well so far, Padme” he told her, going on, “You need anything?” he asked as Padme smiled,

Padme: “No, not right now, just keep me company. I need you with me” she informed him as he laughed,

Anakin: “I’m staying right here with you. I’m not leaving you” he assured her, moving closer, an interesting question came to his mind,

Anakin: “Padme, do you ever wonder which is worse: getting kicked in the nuts or going through labour?” he asked seeing her face cross with confusement,

Padme: “What?” she asked puzzled as Anakin laughed,

Anakin: “It’s just interesting, because no one will ever know, cause no one can ever experience both” he finished as Padme stared at him curiously, not understanding what he meant, before she laughed

Padme: “Oh Anakin, you are too cute” she told him, as she braced herself for another contraction and he was immediately at her side, coaching her through.


Setting-Palo’s apartment

Deciding to take a small break from his task, Palo returned home to his apartment where he checked on his present for Anakin and Padme, when a knock came at the door, he called out,

Palo: “Come in” seeing Eirtae enter the apartment, her eyes lighting up at the present in Palo’s hand,

Eirtae: “Morning. What’s that?” she asked excitedly,

Palo: “It’s my house warming present for Anakin and Padme” he replied as Eirtae went on,

Eirtae: “Oh, that’s a baby chick and a baby duck” she gushed, picking the baby **** as Palo smiled happily,

Palo: “And I named them Chick Jr and Duck Jr” as Eirtae looked amazed, as she held the duck in her hand,

Eirtae: “I did not see that coming” as Palo went on,

Palo: “I figured they love it at the new house with that big backyard and then when they get older, they go to that special farm that Anakin took the other chick and duck too” as Eirtae went silent, her eyes widening,

Eirtae: “Yes” she replied, noting wanting him to know the truth as Palo nodded,

Palo: “Yeah” before he added, “You know, it’s a shame that people can’t visit there, though” as Eirtae replied,

Eirtae: “That is the rule though” as the door opened once more and in entered Obi Wan, with a cheerful attitude than the one he had last night, as Eirtae spun around, no longer able to hold the news,

Eirtae: “Guess what! You’re almost an uncle!” she exclaimed as Obi Wan became confused at what she meant,

Obi Wan: “What?” he asked as Palo explained further,

Palo: “Last night, Padme went into labour last night and Anakin and her at the medical centre right now” as Obi Wan gasped in amazement,

Obi Wan: “Oh my god!” as Eirtae pointed out,

Eirtae: “And I have a definite feeling that it’s going to be a girl” as Obi Wan rolled his eyes,

Obi Wan: “Eirtae, you sure that Han was going to be a girl” he reminded her as Eirtae simply looked at him,

Eirtae: “Have you seen him throw a ball?” she asked as Obi Wan shot her a look before brushing wanting to ask if Sabe was home,

Sabe: “Is Sabe here?” he asked as Palo answered him,

Palo: “I think she’s still asleep” before adding, “How did it go with you and Sabe last night, she seemed pretty pissed at you” as Obi Wan paused for a moment before he replied,

Obi Wan: “Oh, yeah, we worked things out” before he broke out into a smile as Eirtae caught on,

Eirtae: “What’s that smile? Did something happen between you two?” she asked as Obi Wan defensively replied back,

Obi Wan: “Hey, I’m not one to kiss and tell” before smiling more, “But I’m also not one to have sex and shut up. We totally did it!” he exclaimed seeing Palo and Eirtae’s faces turned into surprised looks,

Palo: “You and Sabe?” he asked as Obi Wan nodded,

Obi Wan: “It’s pretty great” he told them as Palo had to know,

Palo: “What does that mean? You guys getting back together?” he asked as Obi Wan went quiet,

Obi Wan: “Oh, I don’t know” he muttered, before adding, “We didn’t really get to talk” as Eirtae asked,

Eirtae: “But do you want to get back together?” while he paused to consider the question,

Obi Wan: “I don’t know. It was incredible. I mean it felt so right. When I was holding her, I never wanted to let her go” he informed them before confessing, “Know what, yeah I do want together” as Eirtae giggled,

Eirtae: “Yay!” she exclaimed before Obi Wan quieted her down,

Obi Wan: “Shh” as she whispered back,

Eirtae: “Yay” as Palo spoke once more,

Palo: “So, is she still going to Alderaan?” as Obi Wan suddenly remembered

Obi Wan: “Wow, I hadn’t thought about that. I hope not” as Eirtae went on, no longer able to hold any more excitement,

Eirtae: “Oh, this is like the best day ever. Ever. You guys might be getting back together. Padme and Anakin are having a baby, there are chicks and ducks in the world again! Oh, I feel like I’m in a musical” she exclaimed, starting to sing, “When the sun comes out bright and beaming and the moon comes…” just as Sabe was coming out from her room,

Sabe: “Morning” she spoke as Eirtae stopped singing, muttering to Palo,

Eirtae: “Guess we’ll never know how that song ends” watching Sabe move closer to Obi Wan,

Obi Wan: “Hey” as she smiled,

Sabe: “Hi” she smiled even more,

Obi Wan: “How did you sleep?” he asked as he smiled,

Sabe: “Good, you?” he asked back as she smiled even more,

Obi Wan: “Good” she assured him as Palo smirked,

Palo: “I bet you did” as Obi Wan and Sabe looked over at them,

Obi Wan: “Uh, would you guys give us a minute?” he asked as Palo started to move for the door,

Palo: “Sure, would you guys just keep an eye on the chick and duck?” he asked as Sabe looked confused,

Sabe: “Chick and the duck?” she asked, “Didn’t they d…?” before Eirtae quickly jumped in,

Eirtae: “Dive. They dove. Head first into fun on the farm” she corrected her before leaving as Palo gave a small smile, and followed her out as Obi Wan turned back to Sabe,

Obi Wan: “So…” he started before he gave her a quick kiss, “Morning” he finished as she replied,

Sabe: “You too” before going on, “Last night was just wonderful as he echoed her response

Obi Wan: “Oh, it really was” as she gushed more,

Sabe: “I woke up today with the biggest smile on my face” as he replied back happily,

Obi Wan: “I know me too. It was….you know, it was one of those things you think is never going to happen. And then it does, and it’s everything you want it to be.” He explained, as she smiled even more,

Sabe: “I know. It was just…It’s just the perfect way to say goodbye” throwing her arms around him, Obi Wan became quiet, not knowing what to say. She was still leaving and he couldn’t say what he wanted to tell her.

Setting-Medical Centre

It was now time for the birth and the doctor was instructing Padme to push, she couldn’t believe how much pain was involved as Anakin held her hand, helping her through,

Medic: “Come on, Padme, you have start pushing now” he instructed her as Padme gave all her strength into it,

Padme: “Oh man this really hurts” she cried as Anakin looked worried,

Anakin: “Really that bad?” he asked as Padme angrily looked at him,

Padme: “Yes, I think it’s time to kick you in the nuts and see which it worse” she threatened him as Anakin slightly jumped back,

Medic: “Baby’s head is crowning, Starting pushing a little more” he told her, Padme screamed more, before the room was filled with the scene of a baby, and Anakin and Padme both saw a beautiful little baby in the medic’s arms,
Medic: “It’s a boy” he told them as Padme asked,

Padme: “Is he okay?” as the medic assured her

Medic: “He’s just fine” as Anakin stared in amazement,

Anakin: “It’s a baby. A beautiful little baby and some other stuff I’m gonna pretend I don’t see” as the medic spoke once more,

Medic: “Would you like the cut the umbilical cord?” as Anakin moved closer, and snipped the cord off, he smirked over at Padme,

Anakin: “Well, that’s spongy” he laughed as Padme smiled at her newborn son,

Padme: “Hey, handsome. I’m gonna love you so much that no other woman is ever gonna be good enough for you” looking up at Anakin, “We are so lucky” adding, “He has your eyes” as Anakin smiled, before another nurse came and took him away,

Nurse: “We’ll just get him cleaned up a bit” she informed them as Padme cried once more,

Padme: “Oh my god, he’s beautiful” as Anakin breathed once again,

Anakin: “How do you feel?” he asked hearing her sigh,

Padme: “I’m tired” thinking it was over but the medic had more news for them,

Medic: “Well, you don’t have that much time to relax. The other one will along in a minute” he informed them with Anakin and Padme’s eyes flying over to him,

Padme: struggling with whispered breaths, “I’m sorry who should be along in a what now?” she asked as the medic explained,

Medic: “The next baby should be along in a minute” as Padme gave a nervous laugh,

Padme: “We only ordered one” she told him as the medic asked,

Medic: “You know it’s twins right?” as Anakin took over,

Anakin: “Oh yeah, these are the faces of two people in the know” he told him as the medic seemed surprised,

Medic: “I can’t believe you don’t know it’s twins. This has never happened before” he told them as Anakin nervously replied,

Anakin: “Well, gosh, that makes me feel so special and good” as Padme looked back at the medic,

Padme: “Did you know it was twins?” she asked as he nodded,

Medic: “Yeah, it’s here in your file that was sent over from the clinic” as she looked up at Anakin,

Padme: “Didn’t they say something about twins?” she asked as Anakin, almost wanting to faint, nodded,

Anakin: “Interesting. Padme, it’s twins! Twins!” he exclaimed as Padme laughed, but in a low voice so that the medic didn’t hear,

Padme: “Anakin, you’re panicking” she told him as he went on,

Anakin: “Uh, uh, join me won’t you!” he exclaimed, before going on, “Why don’t we keep one and have an option on the other. Padme, we are not ready for twins” he told her as Padme smiled, but she turned serious,

Padme: “Anakin, we have waited a long time for this. I don’t care if it’s two babies. I don’t care if it’s three babies. We are taking them home because they are our children” she told him, “Okay?” she asked as Anakin leaned in and hugged her,

Anakin: “Okay” he assured her as she snapped,

Padme: “Okay!” as the medic spoke once more,

Medic: “Okay, we’re about ready. Come on, Padme, start pushing” he told her once more as Padme screamed once more, pushing with all her strength,

Medic: “Here she comes” he told them as Anakin looked over at him,

Anakin: “She? It’s a girl?” he asked as the medic smiled over at him,

Medic: “Yeah” he answered him as Anakin smiled back at Padme, who was smiling at him,

Anakin: “Well now we have one of each” he told her, before he added, “And that’s enough”

Setting-Dexter Diner

In their favourite area of the diner, Eirtae and Palo listened to Obi Wan, telling them what Sabe had told him,

Obi Wan: “And then she said it was the perfect way to say goodbye” he finished as Palo stared in disbelief,

Palo: “Oh my god, what did you say?” he asked as Obi Wan answered him

Obi Wan: “Nothing, what do you say to that?” he asked as Eirtae added,

Eirtae: “Obi Wan, you have to tell her how you feel” she explained as Obi Wan disagreed,

Obi Wan: “No way” as Palo spoke once more,

Palo: “Well, you can’t just give up. Is that what a Jedi would do?” he asked as Obi Wan gave him a puzzled look,

Obi Wan: “What?” he asked as Palo explained his message,

Palo: “Dude, I’m just trying to speak your language” as Eirtae took over,

Eirtae: “Obi Wan, Sabe doesn’t know you are ever wanna get back together. If she did feel differently, she might not even go” she told him, seeing Obi Wan peak up,

Obi Wan: “You really think so?” he asked as Eirtae nodded,

Eirtae: “I’m telling you” she replied, “Oh this is the part in the musical where there would be a good convincing song” she told them before she started to sing, “Bah, bah, bah don’t take no for an answer, bah, bah, don’t let love fly away, fly away……” she was cut off once more by Sabe’s arrival,

Sabe: “Hi” she told him as Eirtae grew frustrated,

Eirtae: “Can’t a girl finish a song around here?” she asked, looking up at Sabe,

Palo: “Hey” as Sabe smiled back,

Sabe: “Hi, I just dropped Jessie over at my mom’s” she told Obi Wan,

Obi Wan: “Okay” he simply replied as Palo pointed out,

Palo: “You’re not taking her to Alderaan tonight?” he asked as Sabe explained their idea,

Sabe: “No, we decided I’d set up, then my mom would bring Jessie to Alderaan on Sunday” as Eirtae breathed a sigh of relief,

Eirtae: “Wow, eight-hour flight with a baby. Good luck, Mom” she replied as Sabe huffed,

Sabe: “You kidding? Eight hours with my mom talking about Atkins. Good luck, Jessie” moving off to the counter to buy her drink, Eirtae and Palo indicating to Obi Wan, that now was the time to tell her, to which he gave in,

Obi Wan: “All right, you know what? You’re right. I should at least tell her how I feel” he told them, getting up to his feet, he was nearly near Sabe when Palo called him back,

Palo: “Obi Wan, wait, wait”

Obi Wan: “What? What?” he asked wondering what he wanted,

Palo: “Could you get me a muffin?” he asked as Obi Wan only rolled his eyes and moved back towards Sabe, only to be stopped by, Dexter’s second in charge, Eric, who had a crush on Sabe since he first saw her,

Eric: “Sabe?” he asked, as she turned around,

Sabe: “Yeah?” she asked, as he went on,

Eric: “I know you’re leaving tonight, but I just have to tell you” he started before confessing, “I love you” seeing Sabe feeling touched, as Obi Wan, Palo and Eirtae couldn’t believe what they had seen,

Eric: “Now, I don’t know if that changes your plans at all, but I thought you should know” he replied as Obi Wan couldn’t believe what he was hearing while Sabe was nearly about to cry again,

Sabe: “Eric…” she started placing a hand on his shoulder, “I love you too. Probably not in the same way, but I do. And when I’m in a café having ruby biel or I see a man with hair brighter than the sun, I’ll think of you” she cried, before she gave him a small kiss on the cheek as he moved over as Sabe smiled at her friends, before moving off,

Sabe: “Bye, you guys” she told them as Eirtae replied back,

Eirtae: “Bye” watching her go as Obi Wan turned back to Palo and Eirtae,

Obi Wan: “Oh my god!” he exclaimed, as Eirtae added,

Eirtae: “Unbelievable” while Palo still wanted food,

Palo: “Hey, you know what might help?” he asked only to have Obi Wan snap back,

Obi Wan: “I’m not getting you a muffin!” as Palo threw his hands down in defeat while Eirtae and Obi Wan couldn’t believe what they had seen.


Setting-Hospital-Padme and Anakin

Having been moved from the labour room to their own private room, Padme, now rested in bed, as she held Leia, while Anakin stood next to her, holding Luke, the smiles on their faces told how happy they were, Padme smiled up at Anakin,

Padme: “Do you think they recognised each other from in there?” she asked as Anakin smiled back at her,

Anakin: “Maybe. Unless they’re like two people who’ve lived in apartments next to each other for years, then one day, they’re pushed through a girl thingy and they meet” he replied as Padme gave a small laugh, before asking,

Padme: “Have we decided what to name them?” she asked as Anakin looked down at the infant in Padme’s arms,

Anakin: “I think we should the girl, Leia” he told her as Padme smiled, trying to hold back the tears, knowing where he got that name from,

Padme: “Leia, I love that name” she cried adding, “Look at these little bunnies” she cried as Anakin smiled back,

Anakin: “I know. You ready to trade?” he asked as she nodded,

Padme: “Okay” as Anakin spoke next,

Anakin: “Okay” leaning down to see how he would trade, moving different angles,

Padme: “Okay, let’s see” she spoke, moving her arm around, however, after a few more minutes, they still had not worked it out, so Anakin simply suggested,

Anakin: “We could trade later” as Padme quickly agreed,

Padme: “Yeah, I’m good” going back to smiling down at their newborn twins in their arms.


Eirtae and Palo were spending their time in Anakin and Padme’s apartment, decorating it beautifully, for when they arrived home with their new baby, Palo was busy working on a sign, as Eirtae came over,

Eirtae: “Hey. What are you working on?” she asked as Palo turned around, with the sign

Palo: “A ‘welcome home’ sign for the baby” he replied as Eirtae smiled, looking at his sign,

Eirtae: “How sweet!. Is that the baby?” she asked, indicating a spot of red paint off to the side, seeing Palo look down,

Palo: “No, I sat in the paint” he muttered as Eirtae smiled, turning back to the front door just as Obi Wan was coming through,

Palo: “Hey” he greeted as Eirtae asked,

Eirtae: “So did you talk to Sabe?” she asked once more as Obi Wan shook his head,

Obi Wan: “No, and I’m not going to.” He told them as Eirtae looked shocked,

Eirtae: “What?” she asked as Palo echoed her response,

Palo: “Why not?” as Obi Wan reminded them,

Obi Wan: “She’s just gonna shoot me down. You saw what happened with Eric. That did not look like fun” he replied, as Eirtae asked once more,

Eirtae: “How can you compare yourself to Eric?” before going on, “I mean, sure, he’s sexy in a more obvious way” before pointing out, “You have a relationship with you. You sleep together last night” before Obi Wan argued back,

Obi Wan: “Yeah, and she still wants to go. It’s pretty clear where she is.” as Palo, who had moved back to the lounge area, sitting on the table,

Palo: “Yeah, I know what you mean. I mean, sometimes..” before Eirtae noticed where he was sitting,

Eirtae: “Uh, Palo” she started as he jumped up in anger,

Palo: “Damn it!” he exclaimed before Eirtae turned once more to Obi Wan, who was still going on,
Obi Wan: “If I were gonna tell her, I don’t have to do it now” he told them, adding, “Okay? I’ll see her again, we’ve got time” he assured them as Eirtae shook her head,

Eirtae: “No, you don’t. She’s going to Alderaan! She’s going to meet somebody. Do you know how many hot guys there are on Alderaan? It’s a city of Eric’s” she exclaimed as Palo pulled a face just, while Obi Wan did not look amused as the door oped once more and in came Eirtae’s husband, James, with a rolled up piece of paper,

James: “Hey” he greeted them as they all turned to greet him,

Eirtae: moving over to James, “Hey, what do you have there?” she asked as James smiled,

James: “Oh, I made a little something for the baby” he informed her, adding, “If I had more time to work on it, it’d be better, but…” as he unravelling the paper, to reveal a beautifully decorated sign, saying ‘Welcome home, Baby Skywalker” as everyone stared in awe at the sign,

Obi Wan: stunned and surprised: “Oh my god, you did that yourself?” he asked as Eirtae, who’s eyes were still on the sign, added

Eirtae: “Honey, that’s gorgeous” as Palo rudely snapped,

Palo: “You know the baby can’t read, James” knowing that his’s sign was less better than James’s; James looked confused at his comment, but moved over near Eirtae as Sabe rushed in,

Sabe: “Hi. The speeder service just got here. I can’t believe they’re not home yet!” she exclaimed, “I have to catch my stupid ship. I wanna see the baby!” she cried as Palo spoke up,

Palo: “Padme just called from the speeder. They should be here in a few minutes and apparently there’s some big surprise” he announced as Eirtae turned back to him,

Eirtae: “Yeah, now, did she seem happy about it? because my friend Alyce’s baby was born with a teeny tiny beard” she replied.

No one could answer her, but it didn’t matter as all eyes turned to the door, where Padme, dressed in long, light blue dress, entered the room, a small infant in her arms and a smile across her face, as everyone looked on in awe, allowing her into the middle of the group, staring down at this baby,

Eirtae: “Welcome home” she told her as Obi Wan added,

Obi Wan: “Oh my god” as Sabe was almost in tears once more,

Sabe: “Oh my gosh” all in awe at the infant in Padme’s arms, no one saw Anakin, smiling brightly, with Leia, in his arms, enter through the door, until he spoke,

Anakin: “Hey” seeing Sabe, Obi Wan, James and Eirtae all look over at him,

Obi Wan and Sabe: “Hey” quickly turning back to Padme, then gasping back when they realised who Anakin was holding,

Palo: “Hey, so what is the big surprise?” he asked before he finally caught him, looking from Luke to Leia before he took gasped, as Anakin moved over next to Padme.

Anakin: carrying the other twin, he smiled, “Hey” he spoke seeing Sabe and Obi Wan turn around quickly,

Obi Wan: “Oh my god!” he exclaimed in shock as Sabe echoed his response,
Sabe: “How did this…?” lost for words as Obi Wan pointed out,

Obi Wan: “Awkward question. The hospital knows you took two right?” as Padme smiled,

Padme: “Yes, it’s twins” as Palo added,

Palo: “Oh, they are so cute” also wanting to know, “Now which kinds are they?” he asked as Padme laughed,

Padme: “This is a boy, and that’s a girl” she replied as Anakin added,

Anakin: “Her name is Leia” before Padme continued,

Padme: “And we named the boy baby Luke” as Eirtae laughed,

Eirtae: “Awe, Luke and Leia. I love it!” she exclaimed as everyone watched Anakin and Padme move over to the small, white bassinet that had been set up, and placed Luke and Leia down, Sabe in awe about the twins,

Sabe: “Oh my gosh, so beautiful” as James placed his arm around Eirtae,

James: “I want one” he whispered to her as Eirtae snicked,

Eirtae: “Oh yeah? Well, tell me which one and I’ll try and slip it into my purse” as James tried his hardest not to laugh,

James: “Seriously, you want to make one of those?” he asked as Eirtae quickly added,

Eirtae: “One? How about a whole bunch?” she asked as everyone continued to admire Luke and Leia, Sabe knew time was against her, so she decided to wrap it up,

Sabe: “I can’t believe this. If I don’t leave now, I’m gonna miss my ship” holding back the tears, as Padme moved over to embrace, while she too, tried to hold back the tears,

Padme: “So glad, you got to see the babies” she replied, pulling back as Anakin wrapped his arm around her,

Padme: “Me too” almost holing back the tears,

Sabe: “I’m just sorry I’m not gonna be around to watch you two attempt to handle this” she informed them, “Alright, oh, I can’t say goodbye to you guys again” “I love you all so much” she finished,

Padme: “Love you” she assured her, “Call us when you get there” she told her,

Sabe: “I will. Obi Wan, come here” as Sabe pulled Obi Wan away from the group,

Sabe: “I just want you to know, last night was I’ll never forget it” she smiled as he looked her at sadly,

Obi Wan: “Neither will I” he replied as Sabe held back the tears and looked back over the group,

Sabe: “All right, now I really have to go” she cried, “Okay, farewell” she told them, in a Alderaan accent, “Ugh, they’re really going to hate me over there” she added before leaving as Eirtae moved over to Obi Wan,

Eirtae: “So you just let her go?” she asked as Obi Wan nodded,

Obi Wan: “Yeah” he sadly replied as Palo moved over to where Eirtae and Obi Wan stood,

Palo: “Hey, maybe that’s for the best” he told him as Obi Wan looked up at him,

Obi Wan: “Yeah?” he asked as Palo further explained,

Palo: “Yeah. You know, you just…look, you gotta. You gotta think about last night the way she does. Okay? You know, maybe, maybe sleeping together was the perfect way to say goodbye” as Padme, hearing this for the first time, turned to Anakin, confused,

Padme: “They slept together?” they asked as Anakin reminded her,

Anakin: “I was with you” as Eirtae tried to argue against what Palo had just explained,

Eirtae: “Yeah, but now, she’ll never know how she feels” as Palo turned to face her,

Palo: “Maybe that’s okay, you know? Maybe, it’s better this way. I mean, now you can move on. I mean, you’ve being trying to for so long. Maybe now that you’re on different planets…” he stopped, turning to Eirtae,

Palo: “Right?” he asked, as she simply nodded before he turned back to Obi Wan, “Maybe now you can actually do it, you know, you can finally get over her” he finished as Obi Wan realised the truth,

Obi Wan: “Yeah, that’s true, except that I don’t want to get over her” he confessed as Palo looked confused,

Palo: “What?” he asked as Obi Wan went on,

Obi Wan: “I don’t. I want to be with her” he told them as Palo looked confused,

Palo: “Really?” he asked as Obi Wan went on,

Obi Wan: “Yeah, I’m going after to go after her” he told them as Palo became excited,

Palo: “Yeah, you do!” he exclaimed as Eirtae piped in,

Eirtae: “Wait! Wait! Get your cloak!” she exclaimed as Palo became more excited,

Palo: “This is so cool” as he went on, as Anakin, with no clue about what was happening, became excited,

Anakin: “I have no idea what it going on but I am excited!” he exclaimed as Palo asked him, what he was going to do,

Palo: “Obi Wan, Obi Wan, what do you think she’s gonna say?” he asked as Obi Wan quickly hurrily replied,

Obi Wan: “I don’t know, even if she shoots me down, at least. I won’t spend the rest of my life wondering what would have happened” before he exclaimed, “Where is my cloak!” as Eirtae shouted back,

Eirtae: “You didn’t bring one! My speeder’s downstairs. I’ll drive you to the spaceport” she told them hurrying him out the door,

Obi Wan: “Wish me luck!” he called back to Palo, Anakin and Padme as Eirtae yelled once more

Eirtae: “Hurry!” before they dashed from the door just as Palo added,

Palo: “Good luck!” calling the door turning back to Anakin, Padme and James, with a huge smile on his face,

Palo: “Oh my god, Obi Wan’s going after Sabe and you guys have babies. This is like the best day ever!” he exclaimed as Padme looked concerned,

Padme: “Why is there an ass shaped paint stain on my couch?” she asked as Palo went quiet, knowing it was him, before he spoke,

Palo: “She asked you a question, James!” he pointed out, looking over at him as James became confused before Palo turned towards the door, with the back of his pants, revealing a red paint spot on them.

Racing outside the building, Obi Wan and Eirtae rushed to her speeder, as Obi Wan pointed out

Obi Wan: “You think we can make in there in time?” as Eirtae simply laughed,

Eirtae: “Hey, I didn’t get my permit taken away from me because I drive carefully” as Obi Wan’s face dropped in horror before reluctantly getting into the speeder, discovering something else wrong with the speeder,

Obi Wan: “There’s no seatbelts!” he exclaimed as Eirtae tried to re assure him,

Eirtae: “That’s okay. If we hit anything, the engine will explode, so it’s better if you’re thrown from the speeder” as Obi Wan tried to find something to hold onto,

Obi Wan: “All right, all right, let’s do this” he told her as Eirtae exclaimed,

Eirtae: “Okay!” when something unexpected happened, they were not expecting, the back door opened and Obi Wan turned his head to see another person in the speeder,

Obi Wan: “Hey” he told them as they simply told them,

Passenger: “80th and East end” as Eirtae shot back,

Eirtae: “No, I don’t take passengers” but this guy was harder to talk to,

Passenger: “Hey, the law makes you accept any fare” he told her as Obi Wan spoke up,

Obi Wan: “You don’t understand. This isn’t a real air taxi” as the passenger became angry,

Passenger: “All right, I’m going to report you. What’s your medallion number?” he asked as Eirtae became angrier,

Eirtae: “My medallion number is, get out of the cab!” as he looked confused,

Passenger: “What?” he asked as Obi Wan then exclaimed,

Obi Wan: “Get out of the cab!” before both exclaimed to him, and saw him jumping out, before then taking off into the traffic


Setting-Anakin and Padme’s apartment

While Anakin was packing the remaining items in the kitchen and Padme was packing up the living room, Palo moved down, in between the two rooms, holding Luke in one arm and Leia in the other, a smirk across his face,

Palo: “Hey guys, check this out” as Padme and Anakin turned their heads to look over at him,

Palo: starting to sing a small tune while pretending to juggle the twins from arm to arm, Padme was not pleased,

Padme: “No!” she exclaimed as Palo suddenly stopped,

Palo: “Okay” he replied through his teeth, and placing them back in their bassinet nearby, he suddenly remembered,

Palo: “Oh, hey, can I give you guys my housewarming gift now?” he asked as Padme smiled,

Padme: “Now, that you can do” she replied as he became even more excitedly,
Palo: “Alright!” he exclaimed, exiting from the apartment, while Anakin and Padme moved over to look at their two sleeping twins, Anakin wanting to catch Padme out,

Anakin: “I have a question. Without looking into their diapers, can you tell which one is which?” he asked as Padme simply laughed,

Padme: “Of course, I can. I’m their mother” she replied as Anakin went on,

Anakin: “Oh yeah, which one is that?” he asked as Padme looked down into the bassinet, smiling,

Padme: “That’s Luke” she answered as Anakin leans further in to check to see if she’s right, before pulling back,

Anakin: “Whoa, Luke’s going to have a tough time in high school with that girl thingy” he laughed as Padme became confused and checked once more, not believing she was wrong.


Story: Palo’s apartment

Palo entered his apartment and looked into the box he had placed on the holo foosball table earlier, his face turned horror, quickly looking around,

Palo: “Chick Jr! Duck Jr!” he exclaimed, looking into the living room, where there was no sign of them, he called out,

Palo: “Don’t hide from momma!” he exclaimed


Story: Eirtae’s speeder

The speeder raced through traffic, Eirtae was clearly enjoying the high speeder while Obi Wan was not, having been reminded of Anakin’s driving skills. Eirtae trying to assured Obi Wan that everything was alright.

Eirtae: “You can open your eyes now” she told him as Obi Wan kept them closed, asking,

Obi Wan: “Are we off the bridge?” as Eirtae nodded,

Eirtae: “Yes” as he asked once more,

Obi Wan: “Is the old woman on the bicycle still alive?” as she nodded,

Eirtae: “Yeah. She jumped right back into the traffic” she told him as Obi Wan slowly opened his eyes, before shouting,

Obi Wan: “Oh my god, Eirtae, slow down!” as Eirtae pointed out the reason why they were speeding,

Eirtae: “Do you want to get to Sabe in time?” she asked as Obi Wan argued back

Obi Wan: “Yes, but I don’t want to die in your speeder” as Eirtae pointed out,

Eirtae: “You should have thought of that before you got in!” as they started to approach the tolls, “Toll booth” she added as Obi Wan looked at her,

Obi Wan: “What?” he asked so she exclaimed,

Eirtae: “Toll booth!” adding, “Four credits. There’s some credits in the glove compartment” seeing Obi Wan reaching for the bag, she exclaimed once more, “hurry!” causing the credits to fly everywhere, as Obi Wan quickly handed her some, “Okay” she spoke, throwing them out the window, “Damn, that window’s clean” she noted before bending down to pick the rest of the credits up, knocking her head with Obi Wan’s,
Obi Wan and Eirtae: “God!” rubbing their heads as another beeped at them

Eirtae: “Hey!” she shouted, before moving along.


Setting: Palo’s apartment

Trying to lure them back out, Palo was crouching down and moving slowly to see if they would respond to his noises, unfortately he wasn’t expecting the door to open up, with Anakin and Padme, looking at him, in wonderment,

Anakin: “We were wondering what was taking so long with the gift but now we understand. You were doing this” he explained referring to his actions,

Palo: getting up straighter he turned to them, “Okay, I wanted to surprise you, but for your housewarming gift. I got you a baby chick and duck” he smiled as Anakin became excitedly with gift,

Anakin: “Really? You got us a chick and duck?” he asked as Padme smiled, trying to hide her anger,

Padme: “Oh great, just what you want for a new house with infants. Bird feces!” she told him as Palo then went on,

Palo: “Yeah, but they must’ve jumped off the table and now they’re gone!” as Anakin assured him,

Anakin: “Don’t worry. We’ll find them” as Padme spoke up,

Padme: “Actually, I’m gonna go check up on the twins” moving out the apartment, when she heard a noise under her feet, “Oh god, what did I just step on?” she asked, with a sense of worry in her voice,

Anakin: “It’s okay. It’s just an egg roll” he assured her as Padme breathed a sigh of relief but Palo was not too pleased,

Palo: “You stepped on my egg roll!?!” he asked as Padme rolled her eyes,

Padme: “I’m sorry! I didn’t know to look for Nabooian food on the floor” she pointed out as Palo just replied,

Palo: “Just put it on a plate and leave” as Padme simply picked it up and placed it on the kitchen bench before closing the door and back to their apartment as Anakin spoke next,

Anakin: “Okay, let’s find these birds” as Palo agreed,

Palo: “All right” he replied as they started to look around, when Palo, heard noises coming from the holo foosball table, “Wait, wait, you hear that?” he asked Anakin, who stopped moving to listen, and Palo knew where they were, gasping, “They’re in the table!” he exclaimed as Anakin moved closer,

Anakin: “Well, that can’t be good” he told him as Palo went on

Palo: “We gotta get them out of there” but Anakin had to ask,

Anakin: “How?” as Palo tried to think for a moment before suggesting to Anakin,

Palo: “Maybe we could lure them out. Know any birds calls?” he asked as Anakin joked,

Anakin: “Oh tons, I’m quite the woodsman” as Palo suggested another tip, lifting the box onto the bench,

Palo: “Well, maybe we can just tip the table a little” starting to lift it slightly when Anakin moved to stop him,

Anakin: “Palo, what! The ball!” he reminded him as they both listened to the ball dropping, hoping it didn’t hit the animals, before breathing a sigh of relief when they heard them again,

Palo: “So what do we do?” he asked as Anakin suggested another idea,

Anakin: “Maybe we can open this up somehow” before the both looked around the table to see if there was a side to open up,

Palo: “Okay” he agreed, looking around as well before hearing Anakin sighed,

Anakin: “No, it’s all glued together” he concluded as Palo realised the worse,

Palo: “Does that mean we have to bust it open?” he asked as Anakin sighed,

Anakin: “I don’t know, maybe” he told him as Palo gasped,

Palo: “Oh my god!” as Anakin agreed,

Anakin: “I know it’s the foosball table” he told them as Palo sighed, accepting the truth,

Palo: “All right, but you know what. We don’t have a choice. We have to break apart the table to get them out” he concluded


Setting: East Spaceport

Having survived the journey to the spaceport, Obi Wan and Eirtae rushed through the spaceport, with him going one way and Eirtae going another, before she stopped him,

Eirtae: “Obi Wan, where are you going?” she asked seeing him stop,

Obi Wan: “To talk to Sabe, isn’t that why we took a ride in the death speeder?” he asked as Eirtae further explained

Eirtae: “What you just going to walk up to her at the gate. Have you not chased anyone through an airport before?” she asked as Obi Wan joked back,

Obi Wan: “Not since my security show got cancelled” as Eirtae pointed out,

Eirtae: “You need a ticket to get past the checkpoint” as Obi Wan, anxiously to get to her quickly, shot back,

Obi Wan: “What? We’re never gonna make it” as Eirtae exclaimed,

Eirtae: “Not with that attitude, now haul ass!” rushing towards the ticket counter, through the crowds, going slower than ever, only annoyed them,

Obi Wan: “Okay, if you could walk slower, that’d be great” he told them, pushing through them in a hurry


Setting-west Spaceport

In the opposite spaceport across the city, Sabe was lining up to have her boarding pass check to board the shuttle, she reached the counter where the attendant spoke to her, in a rich Alderaan accent,

Attendant: “M’lady, your passport please” he told her as she smiled,

Sabe: “Oh my god, I thought I wouldn’t remember anything of my high school language class but I understood everything you just said” she told them, handing her passport to them, seeing them check it before speaking once more

Attendant: “M’lady, your boarding pass please?” they asked as Sabe quickly searched for it,

Sabe: “Oh yeah, right. Oh shoot. I had it. Oh I can’t believe this” she muttered under her breath,

Attendant: “M’lady if you do not have your boarding pass…” they started before she angrily snapped,

Sabe: “I have it! I have it!” regaining herself, smiling at them, “Oh okay, I don’t have it here but I remember where I was sitting in 32C because that’s my bra size” she smirks,

Attendant: “You must have your boarding pass” he informed her as Sabe became angrier,

Sabe: “You know what, if I was 36D, we wouldn’t be having this problem” hurrying off to search for her boarding pass


Setting-East Spaceport

Obi Wan and Eirtae rush over to the ticket counter, where they are greeted by the friendly attendant, Obi Wan speaks first,

Obi Wan: “I need one ticket” he tells her as Eirtae spoke up,

Eirtae: “Just one? I drive you here and I don’t get to see how it works out?” she asked as Obi Wan sighs,

Obi Wan: “Fine, 2 tickets. I need 2 tickets” he tells her once more as Eirtae smiles,

Eirtae: “We’re on our honeymoon” as the attendant asks,

Attendant: “And the destination?” as Obi Wan quickly replies back,

Obi Wan: “I don’t care, wherever is the cheapest” as Eirtae smiles,

Eirtae: “I’m so lucky I married you” as Obi Wan simply looks at her


Setting: West Spaceport

Sabe is becoming more anxious as she searches through her bags,

Sabe: “Oh shoot, damn it. Where is it?” she mutters to herself finally finding it,
Sabe: “I found it! I found it!” she exclaims running back to the attendant, “I told you I would find it! in your face!” realising it was not the same person, “You’re a different person” she pointed out, going quieter, “Sorry” moving over to her bags.


Setting-East Spaceport

Rushing through the checkpoint, Obi Wan and Eirtae came across the screens for departure time,

Obi wan: “Okay, it’s ship 421-Alderaan” he told her, looking at the screen, “I don’t see it. Do you see it?” he asked her as she shook her head,

Eirtae: “No, did we miss it?” she asks him as he disagreed,

Obi Wan: “No, no, it’s impossible, the flight doesn’t leave for another 20 minutes” he informed her,

Eirtae: “Maybe we have the ship number wrong” she told him, searching for her com link, she dialled Padme’s number, waiting for her to answer,

Padme: “Hello” she spoke once answering as Eirtae replied,

Eirtae: “Hey, it’s me. Here’s Obi Wan” she told her handing the comlink to Obi Wan,

Obi Wan: looking confused before taking it, “What?” he asked, “Hey, hey, listen” he told Padme before she cut him off,

Padme: “Oh my god, Obi Wan. You wouldn’t believe the cute noises the twins are making, hear listen” she told him, holding the com link close to the twins,

Obi Wan: “But, Padme, Padme, Padme” he repeated before he heard her once more,

Padme: “I’m sorry. They were doing it before” she told him as he went on,

Obi Wan: “That’s alright. Listen, listen” he started before she cut him off,

Padme: “Oh, wait, wait, here they go again” as Obi Wan grew more frustrated,

Obi Wan: “Padme! Padme! Padme!” he yelled into the comlink, “Padme?” he asked before she spoke, almost giggling,

Padme: “Isn’t that cute?” she asked as Obi Wan replied,

Obi Wan: “That is precious! Listen I need Sabe’s ship information” he told her as she looked around,

Padme: “Oh okay” finding the documents, “All right, it’s ship 421, leaves at 8.40” she told them as Obi Wan answered her,

Obi Wan: “I have that, it’s not on the board” he told her as she repeated herself,

Padme: “That what it says here. Flight 421, leaves at 8.40, West spaceport” as Obi Wan paused,

Obi Wan: “What?” he asked as Padme spoke once more,

Padme: “West spaceport. Why? Where are you?” she asked as Obi Wan slowly turned to Eirtae:

Obi Wan: “East spaceport” he sadly replied as Eirtae sighed


Setting-West spaceport

Sabe, with her boarding pass in hand, handed it to the attendant as he checked it and handed it back, and she finally boarding the shuttle and the attendant closed and locked the door.

Setting-Palo’s apartment

Standing on either side of the table, Palo assured the animals they would be free,

Palo: “Don’t worry, you guys. We’re going to get you out of there!” he screamed as Anakin then added,

Anakin: “And we’re also going to buy you tiny bird hearing aids” as Palo moved into the kitchen, searching for his tools, before moving back,

Palo: “Okay, here it goes” he told him, raising the equipment high before he stopped,

Anakin: “What’s the matter?” he asked as Palo replied,

Palo: “I need to say goodbye to the holo table first” he told him as Anakin nodded,

Anakin: “I understand” as Palo moved next to Anakin,
Palo: “Table. You have given us so many great times and you guys, all of you. What can I say? You guys make us look good” he smirked turning to Anakin, “You want to say anything?” he asked as Anakin sighed,

Anakin: “I don’t know, except that, for one last time…” reaching over, “Good game, good game, good game……good game” as Palo breathed once more,

Palo: “Okay, here we go” he told him as Anakin stepped back as Palo moved into position, and stopped,

Palo: “I can’t do it” he confessed handing the tools to Anakin, who seemed surprised,

Anakin: “Well, I can’t do it either” he told him just as the door opened once more and in came Padme,

Padme: “Hey, did you find them?” she asked as Palo answered her

Palo: “Yeah, they’re stuck in the table” as Anakin added,

Anakin: “And we have to bust it open, but neither of us can do” as Padme gently placed a hand on Anakin’s shoulder,

Padme: “Oh, well, sure. It’s got to be so hard” she told them, before smiling brighter, “I’ll do it, give me!” she exclaimed, taking the tools from Palo, she set to work on the table.


Setting-Eirtae’s speeder

Racing to see if they could get to Sabe in time, Eirtae was driving extra fast and it was too much for Obi Wan, who was now reminded of Anakin’s wild driving,

Obi Wan: “Eirtae! No, no, no!” he exclaimed as they sped across the traffic

Eirtae: screams with excitement, “Wow, I’ve never gone this fast before” she told him, not bothering to slow down

Obi Wan: “Eirtae, forget it, okay? East is like, an hour away. There’s no way we’ll make it in time” he pointed out but Eirtae was not ready to quit

Eirtae: “She’s on her comm. You could call her” she suggested but Obi Wan knew he would definitely not be doing that,

Obi Wan: “Eirtae, I am not doing this over the comm.”
Eirtae: “You don’t have any other choice” she snapped back, reaching for her bag to find her comlink, causing her to take her eyes off the traffic, so Obi Wan, quickly leans over to grab the wheel to prevent them from crashing.



Setting-Ship/Eirtae’s speeder

Having taken her seat, Sabe was now waiting for the ship to finish preparing and take off, she was startled by her comlink as she wasn’t expecting anyone to call her right now,

Sabe: “Hello?”, she asked, upon answering,

Eirtae: “Sabe, oh good. Hey by the way did you just get on the ship?” she asked
Sabe: “Yeah” she replied, although confused as Eirtae put the comlink to her shoulder so she couldn’t hear and told Obi Wan,

Eirtae: “For what it’s worth, we would have caught her if we were at the right spaceport”, he gave a small cheer with a ‘you think’ attitude,

Obi Wan: “Yay”

Eirtae: “Um, Sabe, hang on” she told her

Obi Wan: [whispers so Sabe can’t hear]: “No, no, no” he did not want to tell her like this

Sabe: “Eirtae, is everything okay?” she asked, still wondering what was going on,

Eirtae: “Um, actually no, No, You have to get off the ship” she told her,

Sabe: “What? Why?” she asked,

Eirtae: “I have this feeling that something’s wrong with it. Something is wrong with the left phalange” she informed her as Sabe just gave a small laugh,

Sabe: “Oh honey, I’m sure there’s nothing wrong with the ship. Look, I have to go. I love you, and I will call you the minute I get to Alderaan” and hanged up, although she did not expect the passenger sitting next to her, to be listening,

Passenger: “Um, what was that?” he nervously asked

Sabe: “Oh, that was just my crazy friend. She told me to get off the ship because she had a ‘feeling’ that there was something wrong wit the left phalange” she laughed but he wasn’t too convinced,

Passenger: “Okay, that doesn’t sound good” but Sabe tried to re assured him that everything was alright and not to worry,

Sabe: “Oh, I wouldn’t worry about it. She always comes up with this stuff and she’s almost never right”

Passenger: “But she is right sometimes” he told her as Sabe, became loss on what to say next,

Sabe: “Well…” she started before saying getting his bag from the overhead compartment, “What are you doing?” she asked

Passenger: “I can’t take this ship now” he told her as the flight attendant was walking up the row, she asked,

Attendant: “Excuse me, sir, where are you going?”

Passenger: “I have to get off this ship. Her friend has a feeling something’s wrong with the left phalange” he told her as she looked down at Sabe, who gave an innocent smile,

Sabe: “Could I get some peanuts?” she asked as another passenger became worried,

Second passenger: “What’s wrong with the ship?” they asked as the attendant answered them

Attendant: “There’s nothing wrong with the ship”

Passenger: “The left phalange” he corrected her as the attendant remained firm,

Attendant: “There’s no phalange”

Passenger: “Oh my god, this ship doesn’t even have a phalange” he announced moving down to the exit as the second passenger rose from her seat

Other passenger: “I’m not flying on it” they muttered as the flight attendant became strict,

Attendant: “Please sit down” while another asked what’s the problem

Third passenger: “What’s going on?” they asked as the first passenger snapped,

First Passenger: “We’re all getting off. There is no phalange!” as everyone started to move for the exit, Sabe gave a nervous laugh,

Sabe: “This is ridiculous, I…” seeing how she was the only left, she added, “Yeah, okay” and followed them all out.


Setting-Palo’s apartment

Anakin and Palo sat, staring in shock at the ruins of the holo foosball table, Anakin, now holding the small baby chick and Palo, holding the baby duck, as Padme stood over them, throwing away the tool in her hand, wiping the sweat from her forehead,

Padme: “All right, my job here is done” she told them as Anakin still stared down at the table,
Anakin: “That was impressive” he told her as Palo agreed, adding,

Palo: “Yeah, you didn’t even use the tools for the most of it”

Padme: “Yeah, they were just slowing me down” she replied, moving for the door, “All right, I gotta get back to the babies. See you girls later” she told them and with that, she left as Anakin sighed,

Anakin: “Sorry about the table, man” he told him

Palo: “Yeah” he softly replied as Anakin asked

Anakin: “You gonna buy a new one?”

Palo: “Probably not. No. I don’t know how much I’m gonna want to play after you go” he informed him as Anakin smiled down at the little chick in his arm,

Anakin: “Well, at least we got these little guys out”

Palo: “Yeah” he smiled,

Anakin: “Oh, we were worried about you” he told the little bird before realising something else in his hand, “Hm, I guess I better get used to things crapping in my hand huh?” he asked as Palo nodded, as Anakin placed the little chick back in the box, and rose to his feet, moving to wipe his hand as Palo followed him, placing the animals back on the bench,

Palo: “I’m gonna miss these little guys. It was nice having birds around again” he told him as Anakin got an idea,
Anakin: “Hey, you know what? Maybe we should keep them here with you” he told him as Palo looked surprised,

Palo: “What?” he asked as Anakin further explained,

Anakin: “Yeah. We got a lot going on right now. And plus, here they’d have their own room” then Palo had an idea,

Palo: “I could get a goose!” he exclaimed as Anakin quickly informed him,

Anakin: “You know, I think you’re set with the poultry”

Palo: “Thanks, man. You hear that, you guys?” “You gonna get to stay here and its good you know because, now you have a reason to come visit” he told him seeing Anakin smile,

Anakin: “I think there may be another reason” he assured him, before making a small cough, asking, “so, uh, awkward hug? Or lame cool guy handshake?” he asked,

Palo: “yeah, well, you know, lame cool guy handshake” he quickly agreed as the two friends moved forward, with their own handshake before they stopped, then each gave the last friendly hug goodbye between them.


Setting: West Spaceport

Sabe was now standing back in the line, waiting to board the ship, along with everyone else, who still were nervous about boarding the ship, while the attendant re assured them everything was fine,

Attendant: “M’lady, I assure you, the ship is fine” he told her,

Passenger: “And you fixed the phalange?” they asked, who gave a smile, re assuring her,

Attendant: “Yes, the phalange’s fixed. In fact, we’ve put a whole lot of extra phalanges onboard, just in case” as Sabe moved up to the counter as Eirtae and Obi Wan raced towards the lounge, desperately trying to spot her,

Obi Wan: “Where is she?” he asked, almost out of breath as she replied,

Eirtae: “I don’t see her”

Obi Wan: “Sabe! Sabe Walsh!” he screamed before Eirtae recognised Sabe, just going through the tunnel,

Eirtae: “There she is!” she screamed as they raced over to her,

Obi Wan: “Sabe! Sabe!” he exclaimed, only to be held back by the attendant,

Attendant: “Whoa, do you have a boarding pass?” he asked as Obi Wan shook his head,

Obi Wan: “No, I just have to talk to someone” he breathed as the attendant refused him entry,

Attendant: “I’m sorry. You need a boarding pass”

Obi Wan: “No, no, but you don’t……” he tried to explain until Eirtae knew what to do,

Eirtae: “Sabe!” she screamed at the top of her lungs, to see that it had worked when Sabe re appeared, shocked to see them there,

Sabe: “What? Oh my god, what are you guys doing here?” she asked as Eirtae looked to Obi Wan,

Eirtae: “Okay, you on” she told him

Sabe: “What? What, Obi Wan? Okay, you’re scaring me. What’s going on?” she nervously asked as Obi Wan pulled her away from the crowds,

Obi Wan: “Okay, thing is…” he started as Sabe looked at him,

Sabe: “Yeah”

Obi Wan: “Don’t go” he informed her as she looked confused,

Sabe: “What?” she asked as he went on,

Obi Wan: “Please, please stay with me. I am so in love with you. Please don’t go” as Sabe wanted to cry,

Sabe: “Oh my god” she cried, but he went on,

Obi Wan: “I know, I know. I shouldn’t have waited till now to say it, but that was stupid, okay? I’m sorry, but I am telling you now. I love you. Do not get on the ship” he told her, holding her arms tightly, as the attendant slowly moved over to them,

Attendant: “Miss, are you getting on the ship?” he asked as Obi Wan turned her back to face him,

Obi Wan: “Hey, hey. I know you love me. I know you do” he told her,

Attendant: “Miss” he spoke once more as Sabe tried to turn away,

Sabe: “I…I…I have to get on the ship” she told him as Obi Wan disagreed,

Obi Wan: “No, you don’t” he told her, almost in tears himself,

Sabe: “Yes, I do” she argued, almost in tears too,

Obi Wan: “No, you don’t” as she shook her head,

Sabe: “I do. They’re waiting for me, Obi Wan” she told him, “I can’t do this right now. I’m sorry, I’m sorry” she told him, moving away, he softly spoke,
Obi Wan: “Sabe” as she turned back to him,

Sabe: “I’m so sorry” she cried, proceeding through the door as the attendant closed and locked it, Obi Wan overwhelm with emotion, turned to Eirtae, who was approaching him,

Obi Wan: “I really though she’d stay” he cried as Eirtae nodded,

Eirtae: “I know. I’m sorry” she quietly replied, before she wrapped her arms around him and the two shared a comforting embrace together.


Setting: Anakin and Padme’s apartment

With the furniture waiting to be taken away, Palo, Padme and Anakin packed away the last remaining items into boxes, Padme breathed a sigh of relief,

Padme: “Well, that’s it” she breathed, “Everything’s packed” she told them as they moved over to her,

Anakin: “Wow, this is weird” he told them as Palo agreed,

Palo: “I know” before wanting to know something else, “Uh, does this mean that there is nothing to eat?” he asked as Padme gave a small smile,

Padme: “I put three lasagnes in your freezer” she informed him as Palo felt like crying,

Palo: “I love you” he told her, giving her a hug as the door opened and in walked Eirtae,
Eirtae: “Hey” she spoke as they all turned to her,

Palo: “Hey, did you guys make it in time?” he asked as Eirtae nodded,

Eirtae: “Yeah, yeah. He talked to her, but she got on the ship anyway” she informed them as Anakin spoke next,

Anakin: “Where’s Obi Wan?” wanting to know how he was doing,

Eirtae: “He went home. He didn’t want to see anybody” she replied


Setting-Obi Wan’s apartment

Obi Wan slowly and sadly entered his apartment, it seemed so much quieter. Sabe was really gone, he had told her everything but she still left. He turned on his machine to see if he had any calls before flopping on his lounge, hearing the machine click,

Sabe on machine: “Obi Wan, Hi, it’s me. I just got back on the ship and I just feel awful. That is so not how I wanted things to end with us. It’s just that I wasn’t expecting to see you and all of a sudden, you’re there and saying these things. Now I’m just sitting here thinking of all the stuff I should have said and I didn’t” she cried as Obi Wan looked on at the machine,

Sabe on machine: “I mean I didn’t even get to tell you that I love you too. Because of course, I do. I love you. I love you. I love you” she confessed as Obi Wan listened,

Save on machine: “What am I doing? I love you. I got to see you. I’ve got to get off this ship”

Obi Wan: “Oh my god” he gasped, as Sabe went on, knowing what she had to do,

Sabe on machine: “Okay, excuse me” she called out as Obi Wan heard the voice of the attendant,

Attendant: “Miss, please sit down” she told her as Sabe disagreed,

Sabe on machine: “No, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry but I need to get off this ship. I need to tell someone that I love them” she argued,

Attendant: “I can’t let you off” she told her as Obi Wan was now on his feet,

Obi Wan: “Let her off the ship!” he shouted at the machine,

Sabe on machine: “Oh, please, miss. You don’t understand!” she screamed,

Obi Wan: “Try to understand!” he yelled back as Sabe went on,

Sabe on machine: “Come on, miss. Isn’t there any way that you can just let me off the……?” she asked but the machine had clicked off right in the middle as Obi Wan gasped,

Obi Wan: “No! No!” he screamed, fumbling with the machine, “Oh my god, did she get of the ship? Did she get off the ship?” he asked, before a voice answered him, almost in tears,

Sabe: “I got off the ship” she cried as Obi Wan turned around seeing her standing at the door, tears in her eyes,

Obi Wan: “You got off the ship” he gushed walking over to her, he held her, and shared a passionate kiss together as she placed her hands on his face,

Sabe: “I do love you” she cried as he agreed,

Obi Wan: “I love you too and I am never letting you go again” he assured her as she went on

Sabe: “Okay, because this is where I want to be. No more messing around. I don’t want to mess this up again” she told him as he agreed even more,

Obi Wan: “Me neither. We’re done being stupid” as she agreed,

Sabe: “Okay, it’s you and me, all right? This is it” she finished as Obi Wan smirked,

Obi Wan: “This is it. Unless we’re on a break” he laughed but Sabe wasn’t, she simply stared at him as he stopped, rolling his eyes, “Don’t make jokes now” he added as Sabe laughed, and they shared another warm, romantic kiss together.


Setting-Anakin and Padme’s apartment

Palo, Eirtae, Obi Wan and Sabe all stood in the apartment watching them furniture being taken away as Anakin nearby holding Leia in his arms while Padme held Luke, carefully instructing the removalists to be careful,

Padme: “Okay, please be careful with that. It was my grandmother’s. Be careful, thankyou” she told them, spotting two more removalists, “If that falls off the truck, it wouldn’t be the worst thing” she told them, slipping one of them some credits before the moved off, Obi Wan couldn’t believe how different it looked,

Obi Wan: “Wow” as Sabe added,

Sabe: “I know. Seems smaller somehow” as Palo looked around,

Palo: “Has it always been purple?” he asked as everyone smiled as Anakin looked down at Leia, in his arms,

Anakin: “Look around, you guys. This was your first home. And it was a happy place, filled with love and laughter, and more important, because of rent control, it was a frigging steal” he laughed as Padme smiled at him, as they both moved over to the holo stroller, and placed both twins inside as Eirtae spoke up,

Eirtae: “Hey, do you realise that, at one time, or another, we all lived in this apartment” she pointed out as Sabe echoed her reply,

Sabe: “Oh yeah, that’s true as Obi Wan reminded them,

Obi Wan: “Uh, I haven’t” as Padme reminded him,

Padme: “What about that summer during college that you lived with grandma and you tried to make it as a dancer?” as Sabe tried not to laugh as Obi Wan was not happy,

Obi Wan: “Do you realise we almost made it 10 years without that coming up?” he asked as Sabe gave him a small hug as Padme turned back to Anakin,

Padme: “Oh, honey. I almost forgot. I promised Qui Gon that we’d leave our keys” she informed him as Anakin agreed,

Anakin: “Oh, okay” following Padme over to the kitchen counter and placed his key next to her, as Palo, Eirtae, Sabe and Obi Wan all followed their lead and placed their keys with Anakin and Padme’s, standing back,

Eirtae: “So, I guess this is it” she told them as Padme, allowing the emotions to come to her,

Padme: “This is harder than I thought it would be” she cried as Anakin placed his arm around her, pulling her in closer,

Anakin: “Oh, it’s gonna be okay” he told her, with a kiss, he added, “Come on” moving for the holo stroller as Obi Wan wrapped on arm around Sabe and another around Padme,

Sabe: “Do you guys have to go to the new house now or do you have some time?” she asked, as the tears fell down her cheek as Padme looked at Anakin,

Padme: through tears, “We got some time” as Sabe then asked,

Sabe: “Okay, should we get some ruby biel?” as Anakin started to push the holo stroller along,

Anakin: “Sure” he replied, before he added, “Where?” he asked as Palo gave a small smile as they all exited the apartment and moved through the hall towards the elevator. Palo and Eirtae helping Anakin with the stroller, while Sabe and Obi Wan comforted Padme. It had happened-it was truly the end, or was it?
