I can't finish the chapter of my story that I'm working on until I find out the name of a character. The database is no good, since I have to know his name in order to find him.
Who was the Jedi that Darth Vader was fighting in the security hologram that Yoda and Obi-Wan saw? I need his name if anyone knows it. I know he had a name because I remember someone on the SW board mentioning it before, but I can't remember what it was.
Thanks!

Oh I know what you mean but I can't think of it either! Have you tried SW.com, that is if someone responds before they lock the thread! They made "Darth Vader" and "Hangover Boy" mods and they are just as lock happy as the others were. I don't even go there for weeks at a time, it gets on my nerves. Anyway I hope you find the answer, one way or another. And if you can't make up a name, it will work for me!

Obi-Wan and Yoda were talking about him attacking the younglings, but I never saw any younglings on the video - just a Jedi he was fighting (a guy older than him) and then he was bowing to the emperor on the video.
This particular Jedi was supposed to be the one that guards the door to the temple. I've heard it said that he is mentioned in the book as someone Vader fights when he marches to the temple (the first fight with a Jedi). In the movie, he's played by the man who instructed everyone in swordplay. But I don't remember the name of the Jedi and will have to go to the bookstore to look it up, I guess.
If anyone has the book and can look it up for me before Saturday afternoon, I'd appreciate it. But again, it's not in the "Obi watches the video" part of the book - it's in the part where it's describing Anakin storming the temple.
Thanks!

I just posted a topic asking this question on SW.com in the Ep. III section. I hope we can get an answer before one of the lock happy mods shows up and closes it and refers us to some worthless thread with 2000 posts that doesn't give us the answer and no one has used in months and is not going to 'continue here' in. My DSL is likely to be in and out, mostly out, since we have a rainstorm here so since I may not be able to you can go by there and see if anyone responds, you won't have to log in or post. Good luck.

Thank you!!
I hate to go there anymore, especially to post anything (in fact, I don't even remember my password anymore).
I'm almost through with chapter 5 now, then, and so will probably post chapter 3 tomorrow (unless lots of other stories post then - I'll try to fill in a bare period).

I thought so, that's why your nickname was somewhat familiar to me and to have seen it back there before, when I first joined, crystalcat ;D!
Kisses,
Sam.

HELP (again)! I'm trying to write the next part of my story and have become stumped by what in the world the purpose of those Force-fields beneath the Theed Palace were - except, of course, to separate our heros when they shouldn't have gotten separated. According to the Databank, Darth Maul fell into a mining pit when he died ( ?) I can't figure out what a mining pit was doing in the palace. And what were all those catwalks for? (being reminded of the scene in Galaxy Quest with the choppy-punchy-smashy thing that had no real function other than to create "drama") I suspect Terry Brooks had to come up with some plausible reason for all that stuff in his novelization - unfortunately, I only read the library book, don't have it myself, and now the library doesn't open again until Tuesday. So -- can anybody please look it up for me if you have the book? Or if you just know what it all is? The databank is no help except for the comment about Maul and the mining pit. Thanks in advance!
