Well, hopefully that's Piett's mutinous crew at the door and they're just trying to figure out who might be on their side ...
I hope Obi-Wan is okay; however, if Leia thought she could take on Ferrett with minimal training, I doubt he has anything to worry about. And I can't wait for him to meet Anakin. Hehehehehe.

He's got an accomplice! Viva la revolution!

I didn't think it would take Anakin very long to dispense with Ferrett ("Shall I spare him as I didn't spare Dooku?" "Nah." --- loved it!) I suppose, though, that old Sidious felt him pass and knows "Skywalker" is back. He won't be so easy to get rid of.
I'm wonder, though, if the Alliance will get over its aversion to Anakin and even be able to accept Piett's offer of allegiance?

GOOD FOR PADME for setting him straight! So Leia went for an older guy ... Anakin went for an older woman - or doesn't he remember that either?
I thought Palpatine would know when Ferrett died. Fortunately, he hasn't sensed who killed him; I wonder what he'll think when he learns the whole ship defected? That Piett took him out?
I'm also wondering who he will try to acquire for his new apprentice?

I think Hand and Anakin should end up getting along just great - they are very much alike, whether either wants to admit to it or not.
I suspect that WAS Palpatine contacting Anakin, which means he must be desperate to offer him what he did to bring him back into the fold. Interesting that he offered things he could have offered before (Padme, being healed) but never did, as if he knew all along where and in what condition Padme was being held. But even if Anakin wanted to return to the Dark Side, he ought to know well enough by now to not believe Palpatine. And Palpatine ought to know this, but he's too blinded by his own "greatness" to see it (as he was when Anakin brought him down at the end of ROTJ).

I am sure that Anakin would be free of the Dark Side if he went to face Sidious alone. But with his family along, I'm wondering if Sidious will try to use them against him, and how he will react to ensure their safety?

Good to see now most everyone knows Anakin is Vadeer and accepts him. Everything is in place now to move along, if all goes smoothly, that is! Maybe the whole family can get involved if things get nasty with Palpy, including Han, if necessary.

Well, the crew of the Executor (is that the right name of the ship?) doesn't have too much trouble swallowing the Anakin/Vader duality - unless the get cold feet during the time they take to consider the plan. It does seem perfect - Palpatine isn't aware the ship switched loyalty.
The only problem I can foresee is how to get the rebel alliance to go along. They were dead set against Anakin previously, and Obi-Wan even had to use the Jedi Mind Trick to make them forget Anakin was Vader. So I'm wondering how that can be resolved, if it can.

Well, maybe they will listen to Padme, though the way they acted re: Leia I don't know if even that would do much good. I hope they don't turn out to be too suspicious to even act. But it will certainly be interesting no matter how you've got it planned.
I'm wondering now also how Han is going to be quit of Jabba in this version, considering Anakin's history with the Hutts ...

Poor Keller ... by his position you have me wondering if he might be a mole for the Empire that Anakin is too blinded by his outward appearance to see. .... since I can't for one minute believe that you're actually going to replace him for Han in Leia's world. But it is an interesting twist that I wasn't expecting!

Well, poor Keller anyway, mole or not ... no idea that he's being used as a weapon. And so like Han to just go get drunk. And take her for granted. I see he's not going to be allowed to do that in your retelling!

No, Leia, you want Han, not Keller!

I really liked the intense emotions shared by Leia and Padme, Padme remembering her love and sadness with Anakin and Leia going through so much. Even Luke doesn't trust Han! It's great to have so much more detail in their relationship. I never liked anything the EU did with them, yours is better!
I was really worried about Palps for awhile. Your political intrigue parts are always complicated but you always find a way to work them out. My favorite will always be the insane Mon Mothma though! It's amazing how though the premise for most of these stories is the same, you always manage to do something very different with each of them, exploring something not touched on before. And again so much more interesting than the EU!

it's very appropriate the focus is now on leia and her relationship, in a story called "my daughter." It's very nice to see her being able to interact with her parents, something the movie one never could do.
