Oh, no, exactly what I was afraid would happen -- both of them, going off into the darkness. If they're allowed to speak, Padme might be able to talk Anakin around the feeling where Luke failed. But I'm not sure she'll be able to talk Leia around it. I got the distinct impression at the end of that chapter that the Sith Lord did, in fact, have his apprentice, only it wasn't Luke, it was Leia. Hope you post more soon!

OMG Leia sounds eerily dark, and Anakin is facing another test against the darkness himself.
Luke is going to have his hands full trying to keep his father grounded in the light.

I think even Lucas didn't realize that Leia's anger was the kind that could lead to the dark side, and being Anakin's daughter it should be a concern. You made a good connection with that! You have wonderful ideas and a lot going on and I can't wait to see what you do with them all. Now I'm worried about everybody. |

This one was sure loaded with lots of information and action! Padme meeting with Mothma, who seems to believe she is right though she is wrong! Padme an Imperial? She can't even imagine that Anakin isn't Darth Vader! I am so worried about Padme and her baby! Anakin is on the way, but he seems to be very close to going on a dark side rampage if she is hurt! Good to see Leia getting a lightsaber, she needs to learn more of the force, but will she be on the dark side? Oh and I am SO happy to hear his hair has grown back and he is hot again!  |

Boy, Mothma is out for revenge! Yes, those poor pilots got killed, but what about Han if they hadn't?? I guess she conveniently forgot about that - or else it would have been okay if he did, since he obviously "defected."
I am just wondering now what you have planned re: the new baby. I can just see Mothma saying it deserves to die with Vader for a father. The only positive thing so far is that Mothma seems alone in all this (albeit with the assistance of a wife or two wanting revenge).
And somehow I'm wondering if the Alliance is still in the Sullist system after all. Maybe, but if Mothma is that careless, I'm thinking they can have her removed from her position without any resort to arguing about "moral" issues. That is, if Vader and Darth Leia leave anyone on the base still standing.

Oh, dear, poor Luke has his hands full; especially for the moment - does he stay and help Han or chase Leia to help save her soul? At least the baby is okay!
Mothma needs to be removed from power for gross incompetence, and I don't think that even people who would agree with her kidnapping the empress would disagree with that -- imagine doing something like that and leaving a droid behind in good condition that could give away your location!!!
Leia chasing her now could go anywhere - will Mothma get away? Meet friends? Meet people who want her arrested? and how will Leia deal with the situations listed above if they materialize? Or will she - will Luke or Anakin intercept her first? Please post the next part!

It was so sweet the way you describe Anakin's connection with the new baby. I hope he'll be okay. At least Mothma felt bad knowing she was pregnant.
Now Leia is acting like Anakin when he would do anything to protect Padme, they sure made her mad by hurting her Han! Will she be able to stop Mothma without turning to the dark side? New chapter soon please!

I've wondered from the beginning if you were going to have Leia turn to the dark side so she could better understand what Anakin went through. Then when she accepted him, I thought maybe I was wrong - but I guess it worked out best this way, otherwise he'd never have been able to convince her to stop (if she still hated him).
The big question now is Mon Mothma. Will she see how Anakin is not Darth Vader anymore by his actions in stopping Leia? Or will she just go off on some tangent about how no Jedi can ever be trusted because if they ever get mad they will take over the galaxy by force (no pun intended). Or think the whole thing was a set up? She was so consumed herself by the need to do anything to get revenge before; will she see that abuse of power can happen to anyone or simply continue to be irrational?
And what is Padme's reaction going to be to Luke's bombshell about Leia?
