They made it to Coruscant! Palpatine's office, I'd be so afraid. Since they know the story, I was hoping they could do all the right things, but the wrong platform isn't helping! Or maybe they didn't crash this time?

Very interesting, and very funny, sohna! I'm loving this story. But it seems as if Palpatine has a mirror in his office complex. Does that mean he can go to and return from other 'kingdoms'? Yikes!
Can't wait to see what you have in mind for the overall plot.

I have a guess here and I am probably wrong, but could it be they have already somehow changed history kind of like Marty McFly when he got hit by the car? No way to find out but wait for another chapter.

Aw they did miss it! If only they had that mirror! Money would be a problem, it bugs me how in some stories and movies no one even mentions this. Brilliant- or crooked- of Wolf to scam that lady out of credits! Now they have a sporting chance.
Hey, is the last post blank, or is my DSL not loading everything on the page? (it happens)

Hey, is the last post blank, or is my DSL not loading everything on the page? (it happens) No, it's blank. I did it to bump The Star Kingdom up to the last posted thread on this board. Arie had read Legacy (thanks, Arie; glad you liked it), but that made it impossible to tell I'd updated unless someone came into the board and looked (since the "new chapter updates" was no longer showing either). I'm going to delete it now, since this reply thread is in here to keep The Star Kingdom on top. Glad you're enjoying the story, considering no recognizable SW character has yet appeared in it (and won't until chapter 8).

Oh okay, that explains it.
Yes I do like it! I like these characters, so it's okay they haven't met the SW people yet. That's the good thing about crossovers, the other stories' characters are entertaining and interesting too so it's double the fun, and the crossover ones stand on their own. (this in contrast to the EU where you're drug down by boring and uninteresting creatures and such things)

Another flying bus is coming, maybe I'm not wrong yet?
They met the Jedi you were asking about, the one who was kind of like a younger Qui Gon. I like him and I am glad he's in your story. Please let him live this time!

Sorry to disappoint you but he is not Qui-Gon. Qui-Gon has been dead about 13 years when this story begins (the time frame is identical with ROTS). That Jedi was Cin Drallig, the one Vader is seen fighting on the security video that Yoda and Ob-Wan watch at the end of ROTS. He'll be back, and identified by name in a later chapter of The Star Kingdom.

You paint a beautiful imaginative picture of how everything looks, feels and even tastes to an Earthling in that world, I could really feel like I was there. You describe it all so well, the Jetsonslike buildings, the fireplace, the alien food, great details! Even though Virginia has been to fairy tale land this is a big culture shock for her!
A government job? Good, then she can get to know Padme?

You know I just noticed something, if Virginia is married to Wolf, is she Virginia Wolf? So now she's seen Padme and she feels even stronger about saving her. I hope she can! Good, the Jedi are in action! I liked the interaction between all of them. Hopefully Obi-Wan being this close to Anakin and talking more freely with him will help things, but of course our visitors from another realm will have to help too!

Anakin is mad he's not a master, so he still has a chance to get used by Palpatine! Now what does Organa want with him?

Anakin's mad about the snub by the council so he's still in danger of being used by Palpatine! Now what does Organa want with him?

You know I just noticed something, if Virginia is married to Wolf, is she Virginia Wolf? Yes, I (and others) believe she was deliberately named Virginia for that exact reason.

Boy, you do have a way with humor, sohna! And I loved the part with the Jedi hologram at the temple entrance, and how you keep tying in their viewing of the movies with their experiences in this world. Good going! Oh, the fire looked like it belonged to the Jetsons! I love it! You almost have me . I AM chuckling here in my chair. I find that, with not very much prose from you, I learn more about our heroes (protagonists?) than I would expect to, their relationship, their history, the way they interact with each other. You should give creative writing classes. And I mean that. What a warm and nice ending to Anakin’s and Obi-Wan’s conversation. It feels good to read something like that where, at the end of it, neither one of them is ticked off or worried or feels guilty!
