You are finally writing what I tried so hard to find in the EU and failed. I know other writers (specifically TheRealThing on this board) also address Leia's relationship with Anakin, but it's usually only one of many plots in the story. Yours has that as the main subject. And I have absolutely no idea why the EU writers never picked up on this - it seems natural to write about (it's significant that no fanfic writer has EVER had Leia less than deeply disturbed and unforgiving in the beginning). I guess they (the EU writers) would rather be "first" to kill everyone off! But this isn't the place to grind my axe against them. I'm just glad you're writing the story at last!

I agree with Crystalcat, I am happy to see this being covered as a main story! In other fics I've read, all very good, this subject has been brought up- of course Leia is going to feel this way about her father, it's only natural after what happened between them. It's interesting to see how fans work this out. No matter how long it takes her to come around, and hopefully she will, I know it will be a pleasure to read. I am also so glad you made him the young, good looking Anakin;) when he comes to visit her. So maybe finally things can be made right between them. I like the way you're telling it and I want more!
And once again I have to say it, fans have so much more feeling for the characters than the EU! I love our fics! Another good one begins!

What a nice story idea, I like it a lot! They will finally get to meet and spend time together which they never got before. It always bothered me that Luke got to at least meet him and talk to him and Leia didn't but now she can. Looking forward to more!

Well, here’s a little side note.
Skye: alluding to Skywalker.
Nairn: meaning “born again”
So if you do the math, his codename means Skywalker Born Again.
:)Special thanks to my friend, Jedi in the Shadows for her help with Anakin’s codename. There were some weird suggestions among my group of friends. Just be glad Leia didn’t end up teaming up with a Commander Skye Homeskillet Biscuit. (giggles)
I know Anakin’s mission and the whole codename thing is vague, but you’ll learn more in later installments.

Oh now I understand, Anakin isn't a ghost, he's alive! That's better! But she doesn't know who he is, yet! Very good plot. I feel the excitement building!
I also liked the parts where he was talking to Padme, Obi Wan and Yoda. His mission is to save Leia from the dark side, and that is very believeable and interesting, knowing her! I hope she listens, and oh what will happen when she finds out? Good work!

Wow, what an interesting plot! I'm wondering what the darkness is that the ghost Jedi (and Padme!) feel. And I love the touch that he's from Naboo, and ESPECIALLY the concept that he can commune freely with Padme. No real surprise that he and Han get along, either, or that Leia has shades of darkness in her. Please keep the chapters coming!
