While nothing new has happened to me, my son did get to spend the night at the most haunted house in St. Louis last night (it's a B & B). His girlfriend's family rented the whole thing out (they have a lot of money) and invited several people to spend the night there with them. He said something touched him while he was in the shower - he said the bathroom he was in looked straight out of the movie 13 Ghosts; it had a standalone old-fashined tub in the center with a 360-degree curtain. And that some of them had instant-photo cameras and that when they took pictures, other people who weren't there showed up in them (in 1950s dress, even though the house is about 150 years old). Also, the lights would flicker whenever someone entered a room - just in that room.
Anyway, I thought that was cool. Just wanted to share; wish I had gotten to do it.
Incidentally, (nothing to do with ghosts) I've got a sort of poll going about the EU in the Star Wars Stuff section - please go see!

Sheesh!
Have any of you posted anything on the classmates.com website?
I ask because I posted my high school & college (free membership, nothing more) a couple of years ago
AND
today I got this email from the guy who was my boyfriend my senior year in high school & first year of college and who I broke up with because I found out he'd been cheating on me for months.
He said he's been "looking for me forever" and asked me to email him - "only if I want to hear from him."
I tend to remember him as a huge scumbag and have been glad for a long time that I never married the SOB.
But then curiosity killed the cat, at I'm terribly curious. But maybe not so curious as to begin dredging something up or giving him ideas with nothing behind them but curiosity.

That's cool to find somebody wanting you after all these years, give it a try! You never know!
I joined it but haven't had much contact, my class is so lame our 25th reunion last year had to be cancelled for lack of interest. If they didn't get 75 paying people they couldn't keep the American Legion they had rented out. A few of them got together for a keg party, just like the old days, I wasn't part of that gang so I didn't go. Oh well. I don't even get mailers anymore, I wonder if they'll ever do another one. Pathetic, considering how some get together till the day they die, like my mom's class did.
On the haunted house, that sounds like so much fun, but scary too! Ghost stories are something I am really into too, if anyone wants to start a thread on this, real, legends, folklore, personal, all of them! Oh, and if the girl's family has money, tell him not to let go of her!

That's cool to find somebody wanting you after all these years, give it a try! You never know! Well, I've had two failed marriages and don't need to get into any relationship I know is doomed to fail because I don't trust the guy from the beginning. But it was flattering to find that out. I think I can resist my curiosity, though, just by reminding myself of the consequences. On the haunted house, that sounds like so much fun, but scary too! Ghost stories are something I am really into too, if anyone wants to start a thread on this, real, legends, folklore, personal, all of them! Oh, and if the girl's family has money, tell him not to let go of her! Well, they have a lot in common, however she is three years younger than him and still in high school (will be for two more years, including this year), AND he's the first boyfriend she's ever had. Here's a link to a history of the B&B mentioned above: www.prairieghosts.com/lemp.html

Thanks for the link! I'll check it out, sounds interesting!
This girl may be the love of his life, a lot of people start off young. In 10 years their age difference will be nothing! Good luck to them, and you too, no matter what you decide to do about the blast from the past. If he's been thinking of you that long, he may just treat you like a queen, at least for awhile!

Hey everyone! Again, forgive me for being away so much. Let me get caught up on the site. I've missed some things.
Very cool Crystalcat! That sounds very neat, your son going to a Haunted House. I wonder what it was like. Must have been kinda scary, but I'm sure it was lots of fun to!
I think it's really cool to you spoke to someone you knew from awhile ago. I agree with Annie, give it a try! Or atleast come and meet him. Maybe he's changed from how you remembered him. Even if you aren't going to be really together, it would be fun to hang out and just have some fun!
I'm sorry your other marriages have failed, and I can understand you not wanting to get into a relationship and everything. However, like I said, just to see him again and maybe hang out. You don't have to form a relationship, perhaps you can just be friends! And he did say he was thinking of you for along time! You'll see how you feel as you get to know him better.
I think it's great they really like eachother! I hope they'll do okay. And have fun together. They sound really great, I hope they are doing well together right now. Thank you for the site, I will check that out to. I find Ghost Stories very interesting as well, even though they sometimes happen to scare me!
Yes, Goodluck to you, and to them. I hope things go well, and that you all have some good fun!
Also their is a site where you can get in contact with old classmates? Very cool. It's great some people will stay in contact with others they knew from their school days!
