Hi everyone! Please forgive me for being gone. It being Exam and Summative Time in School, since we only have two weeks left of this first term. So, I've been working a lot tonight on a Assignment..I err, should have been doing on the Holidays. Ah well, it's nice and good now. But annoying to do!
I'll get caught up again with what I've missed shortly, and promise to do some reading soon!

I've been wanting to check in and read but we've been recovering from a major ice storm. (You may have heard about Missouri's situation. The president has declared a state of emergency here. FEMA has trailers parked just down the road from us. It's like a war zone around here.  ) We were without power for 4.5 days. It wasn't fun but we sure learned a lot about ourselves and how to count our blessings. Our cable line was pulled down by a falling limb and was running across the road (but was still attached to the house). People were literally driving over it. After the power came on, I plugged in the computer and cable boxes and stuff and it still works!!! We have snow coming this weekend and between the thaw that will come and then snow, even more damage could take place so we could lose power again. Still, we're thankful for each moment that we have power (and internet and phones) and will take it one day at a time. |

That's terrible! How scary about that power line! I'm sorry you've had to go through so much. I hope things get better for you! And to think it's headed this way, it was warm and dry and now it's cold and wet. Eek, I hate it!

Yes, they spoke of the ice storm on TV back there, it was incredible! I've never seen such a one before!

Sounds terrifying! And to think, we haven't even got an inch worth of snow this season!  That what you get, I suppose, I just need to move somewhere where they get all the snow.  JUST KIDDING, of course.  |

here in mexico it isn't eve cold, we have the sun all day and in the nigth there come's the cold, it's a crazy weather here, i don't even know the snow, but with the things you're living with it, i don't want to know it

It has snowed in my town last night, and with the sun this morning, it's melting, but since it's freezing back behind, it's quite slippery. My parents went to work on foot, leaving the car with me at home.

Hi everyone!! I feel awful for being gone a lot. I really have missed everyone, just been busy with a few things. Like exams, which are pretty much almost over. I know a few members here have Exams going on to, goodluck on them, sure you'll all do great! It's been freezing here! We have snow to. Didn't snow for awhile, then finally did! Although I like the snow! Fun for snowball fights   Anyway, will be on soon to chat, play games, read, write and have some fun with you all! |
