Poor Vader suffering Palpatine's wrath, I hope he won't destroy the family! It's interesting seeing the kids and Vader loving each other, very good but so sad. Is there any chance he can be healed here too? I feel so sorry for him!

He's going to try to fake his own death? Then can Anakin come back? Blast old Palps and them all having to worry! Poor Luke having nightmares.
She's going to the chamber to see him- uh oh, it's not going to be pretty, like she's used to! This is going to be very interesting indeed!

Poor Luke having nightmares about his Daddy. I'm wondering he he'll be successful in faking his own death - AND who the Jedi is that's in that system (who will get the 'honor' of 'killing' Darth Vader)?
I've tried to envision whether someone else can fit into the hyperbaric chamber with him ... I mean, I know there's only the one chair, but is it possible she could sit on his lap, for instance? Curious to see how you will describe it - maybe nothing at all like I'm thinking anyway.

I thought you'd figure out how to get him out of that suit (especially with your promise about the later installments of this story in the new chapter thread - unless they were all meant to be dream sequences).
That was beautifully done, though. I teared up right along with them. More, please!

What a sad scene where she saw what he looked like. It was nice she could still see him in his eyes. I really hope he can be cured, he's such a good guy and he deserves it.

I do hope he can be cured! He has to know now Palps lied to him to keep him in the suit so he'd be less powerful. I know he has to control his emotions, but I don't like that he still can feel like a Sith Lord. Hopefully when he sees Padme again that will change, that his whole body can change!

All that "only a few days" makes me believe it's going to be far, far longer than that. Bail may not tell Obi-Wan, but he will undoubtedly find something out on his own. I just hope he can be brought to understand without screwing things up so horribly that even an Anakin in the light would never forgive him.
But I'm sure Padme will find the cure ...
And I'm freshly wondering what's going to go on with the Jedi he's hunting?

Poor Vader, and poor Padme. No one will understand or believe he's not evil. Maybe if he gets healed and doesn't have to wear the suit they'll change their minds, or maybe not. It's so sad. At least they love and have each other.

More toys to the rescue! Sadly, I don't think they'll work with Obi-Wan - his Jedi teaching is probably just too ingrained (unless Qui-Gon is willing to step in?) But since Dorme didn't suspect, it appears they got away from Hamas II without him knowing what all had happened, anyway. if Obi-Wan is even still there, that is.
So the renegade Jedi is actually someone he respected ... hopefully that will make it difficult for him to go through with killing him. But I wonder if Halcyon knows who Vader was ... ?
As always, waiting breathlessly for the next installment!

Whew, some very intense moments! Good thing Qui Gon came along when he did! It does show how Anakin s love for his family has changed him!
What about Obi Wan? I know there is much more good stuff to come!

Yay!!! He didn't kill him!!! He's lost enough of the darkness that Qui-Gon was able to reach him! Now, how's he going to fake his own death? I'm very curious about what you have planned?
Dorme doesn't sound as convinced as I'd hoped - hopefully she won't do anything stupid (you know, like try to contact Obi-Wan? - though it would be interesting if this is what you have planned). I'm wondering where he is, how much he knows, if he's going to try to throw himself in front of the emperor, thinking Padme is already his prisoner (and thereby give the whole show away), or whatever else you're doing with him.

I've been gone for days and to read all of this is wonderful! I love Padme's complete trust in Anakin/Vader..... the twins were so loving and accepting.... so true of how Padme would raise them and how they "connect" with their father's force presence.....
I like how Bail was convinced and helped them..... I just worry about Obi-wan..... he almost sounds jealous? which is unbecoming of a Jedi....... I think he cares for Padme and the children alot more then he should? A Jedi shall not know Anger, nor Hatred, nor Love? he is angry I feel..... he HATES Vader..... and I'm sure he loves...... this should be very interesting!
Well Done! Bravo!

Dorme is convinced he changed, now will Obi Wan be next? That is going to be harder.
If she is going to construct a chamber for him there, maybe he can heal there with them, and their love can help, oh I hope so!

It's not my story, so I don't really know where TheRealThing is going with it, but for me, at least until proven otherwise I can excuse Obi-Wan for this - I don't think he's jealous, personally. I think his caring about Padme and the kids are just that he transferred his love for Anakin to them, and he's very protective of having that taken away from him too. Yes, he does hate Vader, but it's because he loved Anakin so much he can't comprehend what Vader did and felt betrayed himself. Plus, of course, there is probably quite a bit of self-blame involved because Anakin's turn was such a shock to him. Anyhow, that's how I interpret Obi-Wan, at least so far (colored, of course, by my view of his character in the movies). It could all change, of course, depending on what TheRealThing has planned. (now for my reaction to that last chapter) However, just because I can understand Obi-Wan doesn't mean I don't think he's a danger to Anakin/Vader and Padme's relationship. He could still very well destroy them both (and the kids), even though he means well. I'm wondering if he'll meet Halcyon and find out what happened there. Also, whether the emperor (and Obi-Wan for that matter) will buy Vader's "death."

Oh, no, they told the kids that Daddy would be here in the morning and now Dorme is going to make her big confession so he's probably not going to be. Or else they'll just hae to find somewhere else to hide. Glad to see they did get to "sleep" together, ina manner of speaking, anyway.
Please don't wait so long to post next time!!! (unless you were without power too?)
